Genius
I thought I did well at 43200! But tell me, which trick did you use for the green gem combo? SFN way, my way, Mandm way or a personalised way?
You did very very well, anyway.

Thank you. I don't know which way is which, but I believe I tried your way. #
EDIT: Yeah, I finished Part 4!

Great work! How are you managing this? You've got through four parts of TBOM in a single day. If it wasn't for that screenshot I would never have believed it. What's your secret?

I don't know.

Maybe it's my experience, I'm playing since 3 years and I often lost my savegame.
And my friends are in holiday and learning for the school I do next week, so this is the day, I've got many time for Rayman 3
But how I said, the worst thing is now: Part 5 I already tried 5 times and it doesn't works. But I don't give up so fast

Comboing the hoodmongers and the hoodstormer is easy. But i can't reach the gem after the piggy banks. I'm always to late. Maybe i should try breaking the first piggy bank first and take the gem, and then break the second piggy bank and then jump for the gem

Indeedy, I had problems there too. Remember, the combo time frame lasts 6 seconds once you've beaten a Hoodlum, and the time necessary to get the gem on the ground floor comes from the Hoodblaster way back. Basically, you have to break the piggy bank and run through the gems, then quickly roll at the extreme edge of the cliff in six seconds. This is why it's important to shoot the second Hoodblaster at the last minute. By the way, you managed to get that Hoodstormer in combo with the Hoodmongers?? Nice!

You can't give up now. Not after so much work. ^^ If I can pull off the Razoff Glitch, I'm sure you can. But are you going to try and get the green gem for 3000 points using DTUCC's clever trick?

Yes, MandM made a great solution for this combo

Well, i'm going to watch his video again now.

I will try it. But that is not necessary when I could manage the Razoff-Trick.

That's what I thought, but it turns out those 1500 points are really valuable. Every point is in TBOM. Mind you, that combo looks excruciatingly difficult to pull off.

I don't check it! Every time when I go in the room where are 4 yellow gems, Razoff has only a bit of his energy. I charge my fist, shoot him, so he had only a little litlle bit of his energy. Then I take the gems, charge a half fist, I'm shootin of Razoff and then I'm slappin' how a crazy idiot on my space button and the bug doesn't works! I think how I'm the last people that managed this bug. I'm feelin like an idiot!

I've found my old game save!

I remember I was stuck in the part 4 of the Bog of Murk, well, I've split an annoying combo in two and I'm now in part 5. I've only got about 48000 points, but it's already more than my former score in this level. I'm practising the different combos, and they don't seem so hard. I have a question though: is there a minimal score to trigger the Razoff glitch?

I never heard of any minimum score to activate the Razoof glitch, so i would try it out and see if it works

It doesn't happen every time, in fact it very rarely happens. It's not something that can be triggered down to skill, it's just pure luck whether the glitch works, as far as we've discovered. But it sounds like you are doing the right things in order to trigger it, so you will get it sometime.

I don't think there is a minimal score that's required, but MandM said it was easier if your score was over 65,000 points. But if I were you, I wouldn't go for it if you only have 48,000 points by part 5. If you're desperate to play TBOM, I'd suggest restarting the whole level and going for a meatier score. Then you'll get good value for the Razoff Glitch, if you ever get it. Besides, it
can require a load of time to pull of that glitch, so I'd suggest saving this time for when you really need it.

How are you doing with TLOTLD? ^^

Well, good, but i'll need practice not getting the red gem from the plum post. By the way, how should i combo the yellow gems and the green gem in the secret room ?

I know how hard the Bog of Murk is, and I don't want to get an outstanding score. It's just that I've found my old game save, and I was improving my score in this level when I gave up. I remember it took me a few days to get past the first parts with a decent score, so I decided to finish it whatsoever. But you're right: if that glitch is so hard to trigger, I'll certainly save this time for when I decide to get a huge score in the Bog of Murk.

Well, I guess now would be a good time to admit that I've been wrong in saying TLOTLD is the easiest level. I've realised that this position actually lies with TDOTK, but I suppose I just forgot the amount of tricky combos there are in the level. Still though, it would certainly be the second easiest, and TOTL would take third. If you're really having an issue with TLOTLD then I'd suggest playing TDOTK, but you have already mastered the Matuvu combo and the green gem combo, so perhaps starting a new level would be a bad idea. Let me know how you are doing with TLOTLD anyway.

I didn't masther the combo in the secret room, in fact, i never got to it. And hé, if i conquered TLOTLD TDOTK will be easy

Hi there! I'm new to this forum and for now I'll just say it's an interesting thread. I hope to be able to contribute once in a while.

Hello here, MandM

Good to see ya. I'm sure, this forum will maybe never be hacked
@Xenon: Well, I know, the Razoff Trick is almost only luck, but when you tried it 30 times, you'll be crazy

. Whatever, I copied my savegame. On the one, I played the BOM with the Razoff-Trick on 92-93.000 and on the other I try to manage the Razoff-Bug.

Thanks! It is indeed a great relief this place is hacker safe. And also interesting to see posts from way back when R3 was new in 2003.
Do you play BOM at the moment? Well, so do I in an attempt to hit Razoff 4 times. Right now I'm trying to keep the Hoodblaster alive in the beginning of part 3. On average I have to make 50 - 60 restarts before he survives, which is rather annoying.
