And Drolpiraat, if you're ever in Hoodlum Headquarters in R3 GC, when you're in the shooting gallery, take a close look into the hole in the wall that the targets are coming out of. There are three yellow gems in there, and you can see them if you look into it from a certain angle. Try and get a screenshot sometime, as nobody seems to believe me about them. They only seem to be in the Gamecube version. (it MIGHT be the hole they're going into, not coming out of, I forget)

Drolpiraat: Uh, it's not even possible to change the settings while the game is running. I try to change them when it's NOT running, and I can. I changed some thingies which I don't even understand, and the scenes now can play! And that's the only thing that changed.

Drolpiraat wrote:@Henchman800: Try messing around with the graphics settings and searching for the best settings while the game is running. I managed to get it working that way.
I can't help for that, but...
@Fat_Mario: Just keep pressing A fast when the level is almost done loading ( and don't stop before the countdown comes ). It will skip the introduction and start the level. Also, did you disable Idle Skipping? That doesn't seem to work with this game ( it slows the game down )... so if you haven't disabled it, do it.

Disable Idle Skipping and fast pressing A button don't work

Can you beat this level for me? I send you game save.

I will try that for sure. I also have a cheat that makes Rayman huge and that lets me look under the ground. I guess it will help me spot the gems. ^^

It IS possible, I do it all the time. I mean the graphics settings, not the general configuration.
That is, IF you are using the OpenGL plugin ( this is the best one, don't use Direct3D, it will not work ).
Oh, and... scenes can play? What did you do?

It doesn't work? Strange. Yeah, it crashed a few times here, sometimes at the end of the loading screen. Just try again and remember: don't forget to keep pressing A fast!

The scenes? Well, to tell you the truth...
I have no idea what I did. I just kept on clicking at random things, that just looked pretty

There seem to be no limitations when cheating with Rayman 3. Is it possible, I wonder, to manipulate the Shoe's movement when running the Shoecart? That could come in quite handy.
By the way, I have to admit I'm cynical about this newly discovered "secret" room in HH. I highly doubt these gems are accessible

I can't even unrar the ISO of Rayman Arena ? Is it corrupt ? Well, i will try it in Linux tomorrow.
Oh, and are you using OpenGL ? Yes, then i won't need Windows for playing gamecube games ! :3

Yeah, it's using OpenGL, and the emulator works on both Windows and Linux.

It unrared just fine for me with all three parts.
I don't think I've got that openGL thing; this laptop is Centrino which I bet is a long way down from quadcore. :<

You don't need a quad core, a strong dual core is good enough.
Yeay, nautilus got the *.rar and unpacked it fast. I have the *.iso now. I will compile the *.tar.gz tomorrow. Now i'm going to get myself a shower.
By the way, if this works, i need someone to fix my roof for a low price, because i am certainly going to jump trough it

So butterflies are gone. Arrr, I really don't know which version is better.
Are you gonna make more vids, Droolie?

Of course, the better version is the GCN/Xbox one! It doesn't have Popolopo <weird ''i''>, the Lum mode and ''Catch the Fly''! That's why it's better
AND it has cooler skins.

My friend and me think other way - fly was cool! And Time Attack sucks.

Capture the Fly was one of the best modes in Rayman M, methinks. I used to play it all the time with my sister.

... Oh! That gives me an idea! *goes to check if Capture the Fly is in Multiplayer mode*

Capture the fly with 4 CPU's was hard.

... I can't get in multiplayer mode? HUH? o_O
Maybe it's unlocked at the end of the game?
Anyway, I have finished Master League for all races. Now for the battles...

Maybe it's one of those games that *need* to have a second controller in to play multiplayer, like in WarioWare Mega Party games.

Something I noticed in Dolphin:
Go to Options > Configure > Gamecube > Port 1...one of the options is "GBA"...same for the other ports...

Yeah, but you can't play R3 on that GBA port...
Ah! That was also the reason I couldn't access multiplayer... I can now! Sadly, no Capture the Fly...

Cool, I helped
And if you go to Options in VBA, there's a "Link" option...
