That's completely different from me. I'm bad at the no-action levels.

Not possible. He's only in the PCX.

Globox is part of the background so he can't move, unless someone finds a way to edit the sprites of Rayman Designer and puts Globox in there.

That would require reverse-engineering of the WLD files, and I wouldn't know how to do that. However, I (and other Betilla's Gardens members, but mostly me :P ) have found a lot of glitches, which may someday help in deciphering the way the engine does things.

Glitches is always good! Try to make it output some more error messages. ;)

There aren't really any error messages. If you delete essential files, it will say "no such file or directory", but that's it. Also, Events are grouped. If you add a group 9, it will be called "Try to do better than", which is what comes up when you replay a level, and group 10 is "No object grabbed", which is what comes up when you press N (the info button) when your mouse isn't on an event. This does tell us about string placement, I suppose. :)

I would like to play Rayman Designer again, but you know the XP problem...

Have you tried the patch? It seems to work for most people.

About the error messages: There is one really ugly messages. I don't remember the exact wording but in only appears when you've placed too many events in a level. It happened to me once, years ago, and the whole level was ruined because everytime I tried to start it, that message came and the game shut down.

I haven't a patch for Rayman Designer... and on XP it runs slowly.

There is a way to speed it up by setting the CPU cycles. I have forget howto do that..

Because I found on last year a cool guide of how to work with Rayman Designer, however the game itself runs slow on XP, and I would love to get the game working again, to try to make levels.

No, I meant editing the images. As far as I can see, you have found a way to edit the sprites available in the Mapper, but it would be great if someone found how to edit those used in the event editor (which are probably a series of different sprites actually).
By the way, that Jaxx guy is amazing, his Rayman skills are inhuman.

No we can't, they're packed/encrypted in the WLD files. The Mapper sprites are in PCXs, which can be opened in many modern image editors.

Has anyone looked into them? Maybe there's a way to figure out how they are stored.

We can see the names of the spritepackages. However, we can't rename them, or the game would crash. I can't really figure out what way they're organised. I think I should be the Betilla's Gardens spokesperson here!

I didn't say it was a request. It was an expression of opinion, followed by a "lol" emoticon.
