Do you know if it has the movies on it, Guy123?

I recently picked up Rayman on Playstation for cheap at my local game store (Not Gamestop!), so I can send you my original copy with all of the music and movies for free if want. You just have to send me the shipping costs some how.

PM me if you can't get your copy working.

Oh, I meant my PC version. I'm keeping the Playstation version and getting rid of the PC version with the SoftKey logo.

I mean, since you got the one that says "Soft Key" on the front, AND it has the movies, it seems like you have the complete version... None of the other versions even have the movies from what I can tell.

The tracks on my PC version seem to be in order, but I've never run it with the patch, since I use DOSBox.

This is just a hunch, and I could be wrong, but maybe you're using the Gold patch and rearranging your tracks since Rayman Gold and Forever had the tracks out of order? Anyone else run the original PC CD-Rom version through the patch? Or are you using the patch for the original version?

Maybe its the patch then, But isn't the patch using DOSbox? Could you explain how you set it up and use it?
And i downloaded the "rayman patch" im quite sure.

It is not the patch, that is a totally unfeasible idea. If this was the case, music would be played in wrong worlds and the UbiSoft logo would be accompanied by Mr. Dark's theme.

Besides, we already know it's a 19-track CD.

We

Hmmm... It's just strange there would be two editions of the original Softkey published version. To further complicate things, that would mean there is a Softkey version with the correct tracks and one without, but they would both have the movies, unlike the versions afterwards which are all the same with incorrect tracks and missing the movie files. Oh man, that's a headache.

Any chance you can list the number around the inside rim of the underside of the CD, Guy123? I can compare the manufacturer number to mine when I get a chance and see if there is a difference.

Lol so unusually many versions! And for the numbers i believe those would be :

First line : PRM844AE-CD
Second : ++
Third : 84516-02

I don't know but you meant those numbers/letters right?

Yeah I think those should be right, I'll have to check Friday since I left it at this other place I stay on the weekends. I'll compare what it says.

I'm wondering if they pressed an incorrect batch or something or just revised it wrong when manufacturing new ones.

About the Rayman CD I bought, the one I received did not have the Soft Key logo and was published in 1999 by The Learning Company. Talk about false advertising. It's a 19-track (plus Movie audio) CD anyway. :(

Oh man, that sucks. I still haven't checked the serial number (I forgot!), but do you want mine then?

If you Paypal me the shipping costs ($3 in the US) and give me your address, I'll send you the CD. Mine has the manual and original insert inside.

I'd like to, but there's nothing in the description that contradicts what I got. :(

Wasnt it a softkey logo on the picture of the rayman case in the description?

They probably used a stock photo, I'm guessing.

Since it's Ebay, you can probably file a claim with Paypal as "Item Significantly not as Described" and then send it back to the seller for your money back, gauranteed. The only problem is you'll have to pay the money to return ship it, which may not be worth it.

Ah heck, it's not worth it. :confus:

Anyway, I've seen generalisation with photos before on computer chips.
