I wouldn't think the Rabbid games are a true appendage to the Rayman series. Rather a unique lifeless series of their own.

As much as I'd like to believe this, the first Rabbids game was based off the Rayman series, so yes, it is a true spin-off. A bad one, nevertheless, but a spin-off. It's kind of like how Wario Land sprouted from the Super Mario Land series (and I apologize for comparing these pieces of shit to Wario Land)Xenon wrote:I wouldn't think the Rabbid games are a true appendage to the Rayman series. Yes, but that's a platformer, and I was trying to make a point that time travel is in plenty of games other than platformers.StaceyW wrote:Sonic CD sorta had time travel in it as well...I think.

I still can't believe how fooled I got by Ubisoft when they released the E3 2006 trailer of "R4".

It's also quite sad how rare is now a platformer (for all ages) being released for PC.

Yea it's just a shame. I like to see old Rayman games on STEAM (Online Game Platform), Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Playstation Store (atleast they got the PS1 versions of Rayman 1 and 2 there). And they got Rayman (1) for the DSI shop.Haruka wrote:It's also quite sad how rare is now a platformer (for all ages) being released for PC.
