Sounds like she was externalising all her pent-up frustration and humiliation on you or something. Subconsciously looking for an excuse to take it out on someone. It sure is fun to psychoanalyse someone without ever meeting them. Incidentally is she actually going to have that baby?

That sounds about right, and a little bit enlightening.

No she isn't having it. :) I think it's probably the best choice. I just hope she doesn't have religious parents. I've only seen her dad on a news report about it, and it didn't show his face.

That’s good – not that I’m pro-abortion or anything but I hate the idea of a perfectly respectable girl propagating the bloodline of a rapist scumbag and wasting the most valuable years of her life raising his spawn to adulthood.

You know what was kind of hard about it afterward? Just about a month ago our school was holding an essay competition that was mandatory. The topic was: "Abortion, right or wrong?". It was both terrible and good timing. It was supposed to be about 700-800 words. Mine was 4200 words... and I won. :? It was terrible timing for an obvious reason: because while I typed it including examples, I freaked out at anyone who tried to have a word with me while I spent five hours straight on it because I was kind of angry... obviously. It was good though because it let me type my heart out and it gave me a super high mark of 100%.

Hey, I'm really sorry for what has happened :( Be sure to be there for her, and be sure to let her know that she can always talk to you if she wants that. But don't forget to motivate her to move on, she is to young to ruin the rest of her life because of a cruel criminal deed, I know it's very hard, but for her own sake she has to let it go at all costs!

Also, she shouldn't even consider, no, she shouldn't even think about keeping the baby. If her parents want her to keep it, try really hard to let it be done secretly! This child, and herself will face a very hard life if she continues!

While I appreciate your point - have it done secretly?! Do you know how dangerous that is??!!! If her parents disagree, perhaps give the child up for adoption... that's hard on everyone involved, but not nearly as risky.

Of course she should consider and think about keeping the baby. This is a very important decision in the girl’s life and is not to be made without deeply considering all of the available possibilities and their potential consequences. I find it kind of disturbing that you think the girl should try to get a ‘secret’ abortion. No unnecessary surgical procedures should be performed on minors without parental knowledge and consent, least of all a backstreet abortion!

If her parents don’t want their daughter to get an abortion, then perhaps she should consider keeping the child after all. Her parents are the only capable adults involved in this situation and their wishes should be given due respect. The girl should not be whisked away from them and given an unauthorised abortion.

Well, Jewish Candy, you are completely right. I typed that sentence without really thinking about what I was saying.

But still, I think letting her raise the baby is a really bad idea ( if she really wants to do it, that is OK though ).
