Winter. I always said that it is better to be cold because you can add as many layers as you need, but you can only take off so many when you are hot

Yes, yes, and more yes. I can't stand it when people complain about being too poor in Winter to stay warm. For fuck's sake, put on a sweater or two, it's not that hard. That's how I survive the Winter, and it works out great.
The reason you listed is why I don't like Summer. Plus, I don't mind shivering, but overheating is just hellish.

Exactly. In Summer even if I sleep naked, I can't get rid of heat; and that's extremely annoying because the days I sleep a full night without awakening are rare in Summer.

Bump.
My favorite season had always been summer for years, because back then I hated the idea of being cold and going to public school. But today I can't stand the constant 90 degree days no more. Winter is so refreshing to me because of the fact that it's usually hot almost all the time during the year. The cold is more tolerable for me than the heat.

Fall, hands down. It's a really nostalgic time for me and takes me back to childhood every single October. My anniversary is in October, Halloween is in October, Thanksgiving is in November and my birthday is in November. Let's not forget whenever a cold front comes around it gets really fantastic outside, so that's always a serious plus. We may not have all the other typical signs of Fall here, but it's still a damn good season for me.

Top tier - Winter
Mid tier - Spring, Autumn
Garbage tier - Summer

Preach. Though I find I'm losing my appreciation for winter as I've gotten older, snow isn't as fun when it's hindering your work. Still, it can be very comfy with the right clothing and beverages. I guess in my case then, it's as follows:
Top tier - Autumn
Mid tier - Winter, Spring
Garbage tier - Summer. A dual packing of heat and allergies.

I prefer Autumn.

I like the cold air rather than the heat.
The heat is usually something that I can't get away from.

Spring and Fall here feel extremely short, each only lasting around a month or less. May through most of September feels like Summer (with 20-25 C averages), and then by the end of October it's usually already below 0 and snowing. Spring kind of comes around April and then by the second half of May it already feels like Summer.
I love Winter, because it's really beautiful, brisk and fresh here. Pretty much every morning I wake up feeling energised and healthy.
I only really like the very beginning of Summer here (late May/early June), because it's still brisk, but the Sun is warm. After that it gets a little beating and I have a hard time getting out of bed.
Spring here is muggy and fucks with my allergies, and I wake up with a stuffed nose pretty much every morning unless I cut off all outside airflow which is also not the most comfortable thing ever.
Fall is nice here, but it's essentially just the really fast transitional period between Summer and Winter more than it is a season of its own.
Over all I think we actually have a great climate, but I'd still probably be more suited to somewhere even colder.

Bump.
I prefer winter, since the air is cold and perfect, and it doesn't try to suffocate me with heat and if I get colder, then I can just cuddle in a blanket, though preferably I like it cold. The winds are breezy and feels great to me! This is ironic considering I live in an area that is a little close to the equator. At rare times it even snows, which is fun to have snowball fights with
Can't stand Spring because of my allergies, and they can get really fucking bad at the worst of times, especially when the winds, which is my favorite elemnt to look forward to in a day, comes because they bring icky pollen.
I don't need to explain why I hate summer, though only when I go to the beach or somewhere with cold water will I think differently.
Fall is ok, it's not the best because of all the leaves that pile up in my front yard every day, but the winds are still pretty fresh and cool.
Unfortunately for me it is often hot around here, so I can't enjoy too much of the winter and I suffer through more summertime heat. I wish cold fronts came more often.

Speaking of seasons, the winter here was so inconsistent at times. One day it's 80 degrees for the high and 60 for the low, then the next day it's 60 degrees for the high and 40 for the low. I don't remember a winter like that.

A little surprised that Winter's the most popular, though I did pick it myself. Not surprised spring is the least popular though

In Ireland we're lucky and I literally mean Lucky to get 25 Celsius in the summer. There was one summer I think it was 2015 where the place went like Spain and we had no air to breathe for a few weeks. 20 Celsius at night time and everything. 20 Celsius Ireland is classed as "roasting out".

So it was. I was thinking 2015 wasn't long enough back after I posted it. All those sleepless nights with the window swinging open

Am I the only here that uses Fahrenheit?
