After reading one of the previous comments, I decided to remake an image of Wallace & Gromit I found, and tried to include Polokurse Rayman, I think he fits pretty well in there .

I love everything you guys are doing here so much. I dunno if I posted that earlier in this thread, but I wanted to say it again even if I did. LOL
I love the animations and general art style. Reminds me a bit of Miles John’s work, if you’ve ever seen his videos before. Also reminds me a lot of Pizza Tower. All of these things high praise btw! And I love the wall of characters, I’d love to see Ly or Clark appear here!

It's been said a couple times it has Pizza Tower vibes, but I guess that's not a bad thing. Geigergast is the one doing all the sprite work so far.

I've been putting this off for a long time since I've been pretty busy in life, but recently I put some time into this again and managed to get a pendulum swing motion working for the grappling fist. It works, but at the moment the only issue I have with it is that it's not consistent, as in sometimes his swing has more momentum, other times less. I need to add something to it for increasing/decreasing velocity depending on the current momentum. Once that stuff is done, we'll be moving onto testing level stuff and can eventually showcase some stuff.
UPDATE: Since I haven't shared anything in some time, here's some WIP for the grappling fist, which I'd been putting off for some time due to being busy and not being sure what way to go about it.

I think that's probably more of a placeholder, since a lot of earlier sprites ended up being redone by Geigergast, but yeah, it does look like it wants to bite Rayman's hand.
The animation for Rayman in this video is also unfinished, but it's a start that he's actually swinging.
UPDATE: I also made this chiptune song that supposed to resemble an Irish based theme. It's possible it might be used in the game.

Thanks. I'm glad to actually get some progress done on it for once. I want to get enemy AI to work soon and then try make a little test level. Geiger has been working on sprites for worlds, Haya has been working on music, and most of the team have been discussing concepts. We want the game to be fun, especially since we have a long wait for Ubisoft to give us anything.

It looks amazing, however I wonder if the head in the top left corner is too big/distracting (maybe that's just me). It would be cool if the expression next to the health meter changes depending on where Rayman is or how injuried he is.

That's a good point, maybe a less intrusive HUD would be an improvement.
