Same here in fact, since the one near my house closed.

Oh wow, that actually sucks. There's one about a mile from me, but I haven't been out as often with COVID-19.

Not too much actually since the next one is only half a mile away so I'd have to drive to the nearest one now.

I guess it's not too bad then. I do really like those Subway sandwiches though, I often get the meatball one.

I wish I liked more vegetables. Be it as it may, the only vegetable I ever have on a sandwich is spinach (and avocado if it has it).

I don't mine some vegetables in conjunction with other things since those add more flavour. Vegetables alone would be boring of course.

So in this week alone I tried the vegan meatball sub in Subway and the veggie sandwich in Five Guys for the first time and was pretty impressed.

I have taken to eating cheese wraps lately. Dunno why but I just like the taste of the homemade flour tortillas and stringy string cheese.

I've heard of the vegan meatball sub. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but I still wonder what it's like regardless.

I'm not vegan either, but I wonder what this would taste like. Particularly vegan cheese interests me.

Yeah I recall seeing adverts for it and I was wondering what it would be like.

Wraps count as sandwiches right just with tortillas??? Been making just straight cheese wraps lately

I have eaten an uncomfortable amount of grated cheddar cheese sandwiches in the past few months and especially enjoy putting perinnaise (peri peri flavoured mayonnaise) in them at home.

Never had perinnaise but it sounds good yet spicy at the same time because of the peri peri seasoning. I wish I had a higher spice tolerance.

Nandos pretty much popularised peri peri in recent years to the point of making this version of mayonnaise and their one comes in multiple strengths and flavours. I even like the hot one in a cheese sandwich sometimes.

I tend to have simple sandwiches.

A slice of meat, a slice of cheese, a pickle, some sort of spread and pepper!

And from Subway, it tends to be toasted multigrain with tuna, avocado spread, spinach leaves, black olives...

Okay I guess they aren't that simple after all.

I don't go to subway or deli shops in particular that much. If I did i'd have a solid order. One thing I can say is that it will always have cheese!

I think the last time I had a subway sub I tried the vegan Philly Steak one and it was ok, but overpriced so I haven't really been in a subway for more than a year now. I still really like their cookies though.

I have heard Subway has good cookies though. I never tried any of them though :oops2:

There is something about subway plain chocolate chip cookies that just puts them high up, I don't know if it's the sugar, the vanilla, the god knows what else they put in them, but even my home made cookies don't come close. I think here there's still only 4 flavours including a macadamia nut one which I've yet to try actually.
