It's quite interesting. I've got a French version with English subtitles. You can see them working on the environments if you look at the screens in the vids - it's all nice to see.

That's fantastic! I thought the quality was compressed on the PC version so it was less fluid, but I guess it wasn't supposed to be like that. I'll test again your 3rd public patch.

EDIT:

I tested the third fullversion patch:

Rayman Designer: OK
Mapper: Fixed. Its already possible to interact with it without getting the ubi.ini error.
Rayman By His Fans: OK (I just think that the pause screen got slightly slower but that must be normal)
Rayman 60 Levels: OK
Rayman 1: I already figured out why I had the game too fast: in the in-game options I did setup with MAX frequency. When I changed to 60/50 it was already with normal speed. Intro cutscene got smoother, so fixed.
Rayman 2 Making Of: Working well. Pity the stripes is a normal thing.

Great! :) Do you use now all games at native speed?

I believe all the 4 games run in native speed now (its easier to see in the spin-offs thanks to the chronometer). Thank you so much for your effort with this patch. We were all waiting for improvements in the DOSBox emulator that seems to be stuck in the version 0.74 for years, in order to fully fix the speeds of the Rayman MS-DOS games. You even made me having knowledge about the english version of the Rayman 2: Making-Of and from Rayman 60 Niveaux Inédits.

As an appreciation of your effort, I'm going to reward you with 5000 Tings. :D Thank you so much once more.

Its the biggest reward I've given so far to a member. You did something really relevant, which explains why the amount is big. ;)

I should burn this patch into a disc now. :P

Bang! But Haruka is right - this work is excellent and I really appreciate that you've gone through the effort of making it. When my exams end tomorrow, I'll spend some time to see whether all is well.

Oh, but I don't think I actually own all the games. I know I have Rayman 1, Rayman Gold and that Rayman 1: 100 new levels thing, which seems to be a combination of Rayman 1 By His Fans and Rayman Collector. Do I need to own more things or can you just exclude the patches for those games that I don't have (since you were keen on sending the patch only to those, who own the appropriate games)?
Thanks again for the lovely work!

(Maybee I didn't understood your question. We'll see)

You already got everything! Rayman Gold has Rayman Designer and the original Rayman. Rayman 100 new Levels as you said is a combination of Rayman by his Fans and Rayman 60 Levels. That's all! You can use the Patch-only variant if you only own R1 or R1 Gold. You can still get the Fullversion if you send me a photo of your CDs.

Tipp:
All 4 games are already included in Rayman Collector from France and in Rayman Platin Collection from Germany. Don't know about UK or USA.

That's a nice work you've done so far...I should back to R1 in the future. I haven't been playing it for years :D

I used your version 1.00 of your fullinstaller.

My OS of the desktop PC and laptop are equal: Windows 7 Home Premium.

Can you please paste&copy the content of the ubi.ini file located in the ubisoft folder in folder called "Rayman Designer Maps" in your Document folder. Or better run cmd and enter:

Code: Select all

findstr /C:Directory "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rayman Designer Maps\ubisoft\ubi.ini"

Language=German

Aha! I'm pretty sure you didn't install Rayman to "D:\Jogos PC\Rayman Mega Patch". Now to the fixing part:

Change the section to your correct installation path. Don't forget to let that "\Data\Raykit\" part. Here is a example:

Code: Select all

Directory=C:\Program Files (x86)\Rayman Mega Patch\Data\Raykit\
