I say the walking shell and the mosquito, along with the "other" option; how come Rayman 3 (and Hoodlums' Revenge)'s Laser-Washing Powders aren't on here?!

a) I forgot about them.RayGamer99 wrote: Sat Aug 30, 2025 1:46 am how come Rayman 3 (and Hoodlums' Revenge)'s Laser-Washing Powders aren't on here?!
b) I need enough space to take the screenshot.
c) I hate it and I don't want you to vote for it.
Which one is correct?

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread - #77: Which gameplay mechanic did you like the most?
I'd like to say option B?
Either riding the chair or surfing the plum; I didn't do much of the former since Top of the World wasn't in Revolution as its own level, and the latter felt somewhat unnecessary to me. I think Murfy could have also been handled much better in Legends (at least in the versions without touch screens), but I've just gotten used to him at this point.DaveRattlehead wrote: Fri Aug 29, 2025 11:16 pm And what about the other way round? What's your least favourite?

Now seriously, when I created this poll I was thinking about more specific gameplay features. The laser-washing powders aren't specific/rare parts of the game, like for example, riding the shoe (I forgot about that one
). They play a key role, just like shooting orbs in Rayman 2. Not sure if I explained myself correctly there.

I'd say either riding the walking shell or the moskito
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread - #77: Which gameplay mechanic did you like the most?
the moskito was lame. walking shell + flying keg + teensie highway for me

Moskito, Teensie Highways and Music Levels. At least, that's my thinking at 5:47 in the morning

It seems no one had a first good experience surfing the plum in the sanctuary of stone and fire

Record Day definitely helped with this poll, but it's time to move on!
Any ideas for the next one?

Would we ever like to see co-operative play in a 3D Rayman? I personally don't think it'd work in a traditional 3D style Rayman game, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

Would you play a new Rayman game if AI were to be used in the development?
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread - #77: Which gameplay mechanic did you like the most?
That's a pointless question. Going forward, AI will forever be used in the development of everything and anything, from simple scripts to initial rough drafts of complete solutions, and also in art.Greengoop wrote: Fri Sep 12, 2025 6:54 am Would you play a new Rayman game if AI were to be used in the development?
I guess you could ask - would you play a game if the art was AI-generated. That's somewhat meaningful, like asking 30 years ago - would you watch an animated movie if it was drawn using a computer-program and not by hand.

I feel like that would just turn into pointless discourse. I like masters idea!
Also you already know my answer to that question.

Probably guiding Murfy in Legends, it kinda broke the flow of the game for me.DaveRattlehead wrote: Fri Aug 29, 2025 11:16 pm And what about the other way round? What's your least favourite?
It certainly drove me crazy at first, but now I can't imagine the game without it...DaveRattlehead wrote: Sun Aug 31, 2025 11:46 pm It seems no one had a first good experience surfing the plum in the sanctuary of stone and fire![]()

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread - #78: Would you like to see co-operative play in a 3D Rayman?
I like the idea, but I think we had a similar poll a few months ago!Master wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 9:14 pm Would we ever like to see co-operative play in a 3D Rayman? I personally don't think it'd work in a traditional 3D style Rayman game, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.
dr_st answered you, but basically AI is used even in Pong!Greengoop wrote: Fri Sep 12, 2025 6:54 am Would you play a new Rayman game if AI were to be used in the development?
EDIT: it's been almost a month since we created this poll for Record Day, but it's time to move on! Not surprised guiding Murfy didn't get any vote
I was wrong and I thought we did a similar poll before, so we'll take Master's idea for this one. So... Would you like to see a cooperative play in a 3D Rayman? If that's the case, would it be LAN multiplayer or online?

Yeah, but I don’t think it should be forced or have extra rewards for people who choose to do it. I think it’d be a fun thing to do with friends though.
