Besides myself. MediaFire has sometimes captchas and its downloads never ever went faster than 1MB/s, while MEGA goes all the way up to 6MB/s.
I completely
and utterly

...with the 6 mb/s statement. I always get faster dowloads on mediafire but mega is slower and has an irritating habit of being stuck at 99%. Sometimes I go there and the downloads wouldn't even start because of some error. I had to try and get Fifo to help me get the installer at some point sent over to me via teamviewer because the download wouldnt work.
Yeah, once again, completely disregarding everything I just mentioned for a second time. Let me run down your current process of thought:
"I like MEGA more because it doesn't have Captchas and it doesn't download at a cap of 1 MB per second. This is why I don't want to use Ad's idea, despite the fact that he has a MediaFire Pro account which provides us with direct download links (i.e. no Captchas or additional pages/web downloaders) and there is no download speed cap, meaning your MB/s will far exceed 1 if your IS allows for that. For some reason, the influences of free MediaFire uploads affect my decision on how Pro uploads perform, and that is why MEGA is the only ideal solution." <- This is what's been implied multiple times already, and as you can see, it's really dumb.
The only real reason to be against the idea would be if emshomar doesn't want to have to run it through me, which is obviously fine. I don't care if emshomar wants to take up my offer or not, but seriously, don't make up the most nonsensical reasons for it because you're a fan of the rebellious bad boys who got arrested and then made a new website.
You've got a mistake in your post. You could edit it.

No I don't. I specifically wrote that to mean 'Internet Service', since virtually every Internet Service Provider provides options for services greater than 8 Mb/s, but not everyone will pay for that service.

Don't you just love how Mega, an otherwise perfectly fine and fast file hosting service, is instantly denounced as shit because of a few minor drawbacks (which, by the way, are far less significant than those of MediaFire's "free" offering)? Seriously, you guys are making a mountain out of a molehill here.
I completely understand that MediaFire Pro is overall a better service, but comparing it to to the free version of Mega is stupid, since the paid service will undoubtedly be superior. But, again, I highly doubt Omar would want to run all of his uploads through someone else, just to get past a few incredibly minor drawbacks.
Deary me, you guys sure can fill up a topic with shit!
The way I see it, going multiplatform would be nice. I wouldn't want it to be included with Rayman Optimum personally, unless it's possible to have the exact same features (and style) on all three main platforms. Windows, Linux and OSX.
I'd be willing to work on extra graphics and whatnot if that were to happen, btw. Now what I really would like to see is Rayman Optimum on Android. Android has DOSBox and there are devices with built in gamepads, like the NVIDIA SHIELD or the Archos GamePad 2. It would be a perfect fit for said devices.
Another thing I'd like to note is that any future versions should come with the lossless audio pack. Video games are a form of art and should not be compressed if the hardware can handle it. Not sure if Omar is okay with that.
Finally, MEGA... I have some stuff uploaded there, but I can only download small files. Even those get stuck randomly at times. It's really annoying, so I'd be all for a proper upload, especially since Adsolution has a much better alternative for it.
Now if you guys figure out what you want, who will do what and Omar agrees with everything, I'll start working on some graphics and other stuff. Though it would be nice if we could finally let Rayman Optimum rest. The next update should be PERFECT. Nothing more, nothing less. It should be THE optimal version of Rayman.
Okay, Truner has further clarified the porting issue. I'll try my best, but if I do make a GNU/Linux version which doesn't look like the Windows version, would it be possible to work out an arrangement whereby I could distribute it myself?

Thankfully the Windows version is very simplistic looking, so making it look similar on unix based OS' shouldn't be hard. Either way, a quality standard should be kept between the releases. If that's not possible, you are free to do whatever you want with your release, no? I mean, we don't own Rayman.
