Yeah I might get some emulator controllers to play the raymans. I'm really sick of trying to play the original trilogy with a keyboard, it's so fucking stiff. Any good ps1/ps2 recommendations? These things are just supposed to be like replicas of the original controllers but with USB cables or something, right?

Why not just buy an USB adapter for a PS1/2 controller and use them directly?

I suppose just buying a PC-compatible controller wouldn't cost that much more than a PS USB adapter. Those things are quite cheap nowadays...

So PC is a very close second favourite to Revolution? Cool!

I am still kinda surprised that it's not between Dreamcast and Ps2.

I too. I guess the Dreamcast guys were only ever a vocal minority then!

Dreamcast is a great version and has many quality updates over R2 PC, but R2 PC has a huge ace up its sleeve: the highest quality Hall of Doors out of all versions. The Hall is very representative of R2's overall style so I'd also choose the PC version over the DC one.

... though I voted for PS1 personally.

GOG version should be free from this issue.

I personally voted for DC, because gameplay was the most smoothest and pleasable using nullDC comparing to all other versions imho. Graphics also in some places the best, but not everywhere. So eg. not all textures should be replaced into PC from DC in case of any modding, since PC has some better places. The interesting thing is that, there are so many versions, and few of them are a little different each other. Feeling of playing PSX, after all these years, as discovering kind of something new, was priceless. Gameplay was made a little more fun, just in matter of pleasure of gameplay.

It's just SweetFX.
What an unused potential by not creating UBI HD Remaster past all these years.

That looks really bad to be completely honest. But yes, I think Ubisoft could do wonders with remastering Rayman 2. Like adding actual grass, I dreamt about playing Rayman 2 with grass for years. It would be so simple and it would look so amazing, yet they refuse to create anything but bad ports for the game. :/
