The game mainly uses Rayman 2 assets anyway. It's interesting that they even called it Rayman 3.

It probably was enterd as rayman 2 and only turned into rayman 3 because rayman 3 was coming out at the time
Maybe theres some leftover that confirm this in the data

Kinda like how Netscape bumped the version number from 5.0 to 6.0 because Internet Explorer 6 was coming out at the same time and they didn't want to look like they were behind Microsoft.

Yeah it feels more like a Rayman 2.5, since it deals with characters elements from both 2 and 3. I don't think there is a handheld game that really emulates the console version of Rayman 3 fully. Hoodlum's Revenge was like a sequel to the console game.

I'm going to imagine someone else already found this before, but I was messing about on Rayman 3 GBA just as I was about to go to bed, and there seems to be this glitch to get out of bounds on Pirate Stronghold.

I saw this last night when you showed me, I still found it very curious how Rayman just landed instead of actually dying when he hit the bottom. What even is he standing on then, in that case?

I assumed someone would have known about it before definitely. It's interesting though since they clearly forgot to block off that area, though I doubt play testers try to crawl through everything either.
I'm guessing this one was found before too, and it's a pretty silly one since all they would have needed to do is limit the character's height instead of using invisible barriers that end too early.
EDIT: It seems you can walk left out of the screen, and then if you go back to the right it breaks things, including some sprites. I tried it and the camera started moving really fast until something eventually happened off screen which killed Rayman.

I find it funny how some of the marketing material for Rayman 3 tried making look Dark and Edgy, even though that’s not really what the game is like

the peepee jokes arent that far off if you think about it lmao
and i def agree @ it being the best model. though its also worth noting theres the fact that we just.. havent gotten a much better model due to the future ones just being the r3 design with minor changes (making it not look as good), or ubiart (which does not work well in 3d!!)
