Anyhoo, I'm detecting that some Simpsons rank receivers are very unhappy with what they got saddled with, and come to think of it I'm not too happy with mine either. So maybe I should just revert the ranks tomorrow instead of waiting another week?

Considering it's the Simpsons, you do so much as google the name of the episode (very wonderfully titled "Who Shot Mr Burns?"), the auto-generated summary will give it away. No way you'd avoid it at this rate.

Yep, I just tried it and got the shooter’s name. Luckily I’d no desire to watch the episode though.

Here's the thing: the first time I watched the episode, RTÉ in their infinite wisdom had decided to run the episodes in a loop over Seasons 5, 6, 12 and 13. So the final episode of Season 6 was part 1, and then they went into Season 12 without showing part 2 and the reveal
at all!
Later rectified it for myself by buying the Season 7 boxset…
