it's actually called Powerade in Europe
But our stores here have both Gatorade and Powerade, and have for as long as I've seen it.

Oh, I only seen it as Powerade over here. I didn't know it was the same thing.

What's the difference between the two products then?

Different names and different bottles, I guess? Thry both taste exactly the same in my opinion.

Why are we having this discussion when the original message I posted was in the + and - thread? Lol

Basically Pepsi owns
Gatorade and Coca-Cola owns
Powerade.

So... They're not the same thing at all then?

I suppose they've as much in common as their owner's flagship products do with each other.

Yep, they are indeed not the same at all, just another company competing with another. Obviously you'll have your favorites, and probably regional availability.

I didn't know this, but that's interesting. I don't think I've ever seen Gatorade over here. I of course have Pepsi and Coca-Cola though.

Aren’t they the same thing tho? Why the separation?

Both are owned by the World Company anyway.

Coke vs Pepsi aren't the same though?

Source?

What do you mean source? They've been
rival companies for decades, much like Intel vs AMD, Ford vs Chevy. I was certain it was obvious the same was known about
PepsiCo vs
The Coca-Cola Company.
(I also don't mean that in any negative way, I'm just genuinely confused on how we came to this point here.
)
I just know their rivalry dates back well before I was ever born.

I'm gonna assume that Pirez's is being playfully disingenuous and leaning on the fact that PepsiCo and the Coca-Cola company are both large conglomerates that effectively own most drinks companies anyways?
At any rate, while I've heard of the brands, I've never really gone out of my way to look for them. I think the big energy drink brand I know of is probably Monster Energy. Then there's other brands like Lucozade, but I'm not quite so sure what their international reach is like, I always took them to be a British brand.

Indeed, quite an elaborate analysis, Master. Now how about we have a nice spot of tea, shall we?

Eh, I prefer a good spot of tea over Monster Energy anyway, don't you agree, Master?

I wouldn't mind a cup of tea myself Master Master.
