Phew! I can keep my lazy lifestyle then.
Those hyphens are not correct; they should be n-dashes or m-dashes, but I forget which one's which and I don't know how to type either of them.PluMGMK wrote:I'll agree too. This has been going on for - what - two months?
I only go very occasionally to see if anyones done anything.MLII[2Random4U] wrote:I need to go back to bebo O_e
Oh yes, I remember the episode. That turtle actually must have been one of the tastiest things he's eaten on cameraspiraldoor wrote:~I seem to recall Bear Grylls killing a turtle for food once... he stuck a knife into it while it was hiding inside its shell.

Wwwhhh I pass over most faulty posts and only criticize a very small percentage of such posts I encounter and only when I deem a mistake to be extrordinarily stupid such as Sean or quite interesting as was the case here. You may or may not have noticed that I have quietly passed over every mistake you have made here, such as spelling 'deleted' with an 'a', or combining phrases into single words (e.g., 'a lot' ―> 'alot'). These mistakes didn't interest me enough...Acarr wrote:Spiral, we're aware that you're perfect in every way but you don't have to criticize every post you encounter
It would seem that way. xD˜I assume I'm the only one who wishes to discuss dashes?
What is the difference between all those dashes?spiraldoor wrote: Hyphen: ‐
En dash: –
Em dash: —
Figure dash: ‒
Minus: −
Horizontal bar (ridiculous): ―
Yeah, like when you used to preach to him how American spellings should never have been implemented into the orphography of English language. Despite this, I can spot an American spelling in this very quote!spiraldoor wrote:Wwwhhh I pass over most faulty posts and only criticize a very small percentage of such posts I encounter and only when I deem a mistake to be extrordinarily stupid such as Sean
Sorry =( Can't help my curiousity. But is asking about something the same as discussing it?Acarr wrote:Noo, don't discuss dashes!
iT WAS aCARR'S FAULT for using that dreadful misspelling in the post I was quoting. It unbalanced my mind and fucked up my regionally-correct spelling. I must have been distracted by a passing thought of the word 'citizen' to let that slip under the radar, and now I feel like shit.Xenon wrote:Yeah, like when you used to preach to him how American spellings should never have been implemented into the orphography of English language. That was entirely deliberate. Try again.Acarr wrote:![]()
I seem to have also noticed your inaccuracy with capital letters.
Yeah, that was kinda obvious.spiraldoor wrote:That was entirely deliberate.
This is one of the times when we agree.spiraldoor wrote:~How dare ANYONE use American spelling? It is an abomination, I tell you. An abomination.
