Marginally so. The improvement is enough to leave me s.at least somewhat satisfied. Is it eight years of technological improvement? No, so my satisfaction is very minimal. However, I think we can hope to see some mindblowingly realistic-looking games coming out in a couple of years from now.
I disagree. I'm not interested in seeing anymore realism in games. I mean it's great, but when I saw Crysis 3 it didn't ooh and aah me like with some other people. Creative visual appearance is more what I look for. Not saying realism is not that, but there's so many of with that sort of look that it feels like there is a lack of change. There's a million games that try to look realistic and two that look like they're made of yarn. That's just my opinion though, cause I know half the planet disagrees with me and they're probably more right.
Adsolution wrote:You've missed the point again: It rules out the need for a television broadcasting network; all you need is it and a big screen. Plus, how is navigating to Netflix any slower on a console than it would be on a TV? If anything I would expect it to almost be faster, as you wouldn't even need a controller, nor would you have to use a clunky TV remote to navigate through one of those horrible, clunky satellite operating systems.
I guess you have a point, but I still remain to doubt that people really want this so badly. Think about it: Did people who were really looking forward to the XBox One reveal want to find out more about the graphical abilities? Yes. Some awesome games for the console? Yes. The controller, overall look etc? Yes. The nine billionth way to watch a movie while they're browsing for the latest Die Hard on PirateBay? No. Well, maybe some, but when it comes to a console the TV options are not a major interest and trying to bring attention to that at a valuable reveal is a dumb move.

I totally did not put that ´ there, since I wrote that message on my Blackberry, and I don't even know how to make a ´ on a Blackberry. I must've made a typo, and it autocorrected to the wrong word. :P

Isn't talking about the consoles on-topic enough?

That image has been around for a few days already, and I think it's been posted here before.

yeah it does. but what mostly is good about it, is that it means that the levels might be more like castle rock, instead of murfy's dungeon in the challenges, and inside the castle of teensies in trouble. it just has seemed that the medieval world might have been more like that.

More like Castle Rock environmentally or gameplay-wise? Personally, I'd be quite annoyed to see more than a handful of those music-timed stages. I hope the game will have a decent amount of puzzle-solving in some areas, especially considering you have Murfy.

Though, if that's already in the Challenge app which I still haven't touched, let me know.

i meant environmentally. it feels more, medieval and uh, castley! :P the environment of mostly what they've shown is abandoned old dungeons! it can either be one or the other, i can't tell if it's hundreds of years after the medieval time, or in the middle of the medieval era! and yes it is a bit of puzzle solving in murfy's dungeon. what i mean, is castle rock's setting feels like a castle!.teensies in trouble's castle seems like an old church!

There's going to be 10 music stages. Out of 100 levels, that's not a lot. It's probably just an environment that looks like Castle Rock, like how every music stage shown so far looks like the world it's in.

Also, the woman on the battle wagon thing looks awfully familiar...

EDIT: If that is a woman. It reminds me of one.

Ah, that's awesome, since I love the Castle Rock-ish environment. The castles poking through the surreal cloudscapes, they've really catered to our love of the more dreamy, painterly style this time.

now you see what i mean! i don't know, either way it will be great! :) also, i know this is a little off the castle topic, but people have been saying stuff and i'm just kinda confused. on the vita trailer, it said there would be 90 levels. but now, emile has said 100+! and, on an interview he gave EXACTLY 100! i'm wondering, if they are actually going to keep adding content to the game even if they've already added 30 levels, and keep adding until the release. BUT, it could be that those, ''several new bosses'' along with the 30 new levels could tell us, that there are 10 worlds! since they will likely add at least 1 new boss for each world. i just thought i'd bring this up since it's had me very confused!

Picture looks incredible indeed, though Ray and co. seem more Origins-like, huh.
Anyways, three tormenting months to go before we can get our mitts on Rayman Legends, though it seems to be the case, here's hoping all that turmoil will bear fruit a most wondrous experience.

To clarify, the person on top of the wagon reminds me of Viking Mama.

I'm not the only one who sees that, am I?

Also, who's worse Globolk or Darkkitty?
