< Watched Luther Season 2 today, < thinks it was brilliant!

For <, first lesson in school will start at 2pm

< found out what the Reprise tracks are for in the Rayman 2 directories downloaded from Raytunes! < always found them oddly 'missing' elements, while they were different to the original tracks in some aspects.

To see the effect for yourself, open up an audio editing tool such as Audacity, plonk in both the original track and the 'reprise' version and keep them both beginning at the very start of the project. Now play around with the panning between the two, and you will have amazing results! < believes the actual music in the game was split up in such a way, to create that incredibly full sound that it has when you're playing the game.
For example, playing Pirates ~ Part 2 and Pirates ~ Part 2 Reprise with Part 2 panned 30% right and Part 2 Reprise panned 30% left gave a really great sound, while playing The Flying Barrel ~ Part 2 panned 100% right and The Flying Barrel ~ Part 2 Reprise panned 100% left gave the best effect for that track.

< hopes you'll enjoy as much as < did when you hear the result.

Edit: Another good one: The Marshlands Reprise 2 panned Centre, the original panned 50% left and the Reprise 1 panned 50% right.

That's pretty neat, unfortunately, < lacks the capability or the ear for such a task, is it possible for ^ to share what ^ has made?
