Yah. But the saturn has one more slot: Somewhere on the side you can insert an MPEG video coder thing for fullmotion video experience but it was too expensive and uneccassairy.

< wanta the saturn with CD-R modchip and 50/60hz switch. < could afford the switchless mod (switching without putting any additional switches on the back. Gets controlled by reset) but would but just 50€ more so no. < asked a company to do so for <.

< found out that Rayman 1 works independent with the additional cartridge, but by using Gameshark/Action Replay Plus < will be able to cheat. < must realize that modchips won't make the fully Saturn region free. < can region patch the games and burn it on CD-R. < will also need a 50/60hz switch in order to archieve the full gameplay speed.

< wonders if modchips do not make Saturn fully region free, what does?

< knows that Action Replay cartridges such as ST Key or Action Replay Plus will allow the Saturn to play imports but yet those will not switch PAL to NTSC video signal. For a fully region free modded Saturn < needs the language and 50/60hz mod which has to do with switching the jumpers inside the motherboard. It's possible by making putting switches or switchless over the reset buttom. < says Wolfsoft.de is the only company that yet do these mods on old consoles.
