Making a new theme from scratch is quite a challenge, fortunately we've used tips.

Thank goodness for those.

I'm now using the new theme while browsing the forums, it does already look nice and this way I can see most problems. You may be able to use it too by a few days, so you could advise us.

Great! Hopefully the background of the ranks wont look bad against the forum color.

Well they looked good with Solaris, which was a dark theme, like the one we're making (eventhough the new one may be a little brighter). And anyway, if they look bad, we'll be able to change them. Ranks have had the same background for more than four years now! ^^

Well, we'd only have to change the background, which wouldn't be too hard. I mean, of course some images wouldn't like the change of background, but I don't think it would be that difficult.

Exactly my point. Anyway, you'll soon be able to decide whether the current background fits within the new theme or not.

Oh, is the panel where all the buttons are going to be on the left or the right? It used to be on the left, but it's on the right now.

I think it is gonna be on the right. But I could be completely wrong.

I don't really mind either way, but traditionally, the panel has been on the left.

Well that's not important at all for me. Creating a new theme is much bigger of a deal.

Why would we want that?, and besides, I'm sure the new theme will be great anyway.
