Look, this is a completely delusional and unrealistic point of view. I don't think you realise how much of a minority we are in that we actually care about games that were released over two years ago.

Because they could just simply re-release the game on the new consoles in a digital form like they once did with sonic 1,2,3 ect. Because barely anyone would buy the console since most of these day people wants new technology, not old ones. You don't need backward compatibility with 32 Bit games, you can get them on computer easily or on the xbox live market and playstation network if they are there. ( is it called that? I never had a Playstation bear with me. ) The number of people who would want what OCG said is pretty low.

< has to agree with Ad, even if SEGA got back into the console market, they'd be about a decade out of experience, and the industry has changed heftily, consoles don't just play games anymore, and both Sony and Microsoft have experience and sections on other groups and technologies which are beginning to become the norm, they're not just gaming machines, they're essentially media PCs, < doesn't think SEGA has the right knowledge or experience in those fields, and nostalgia alone isn't going to help them.

It's called PlayStation Network yeah.

Sega is already not a company fitted for making a console like I explained earlier, and trying to advertise it with outdated games available on eBay would mean the same people who made Sonic 06 have moved to the advertising side of the company.

< appreciates what ^ says, < is in it for the gaming also, but < also appreciates that a console is much more attractive with a greater host of facilities for its price tag, < probably wouldn't have gotten <'s PS3 if < hadn't told <'s parents how it would benefit them.

< doesn't think there's even room for another console in the market. Unless it had some killer feature that made it beat out the competition it would probably fail against the established, huge brands. Look at what's happening to the Wii U. Consoles can't survive on having good histories.

< is sorry, but there are hardly any reasons to buy a Wii U at the moment. The only great exclusives that exist right now that < can think of are NSMB, of which < already owns two versions on DS and 3DS, and Zelda, which is an HD remake. And perhaps Lego City Undercover.
That's not enough for < to buy the console.
