But... Pikmin 3?MrBadGuy wrote: < is sorry, but there are hardly any reasons to buy a Wii U at the moment. The only great exclusives that exist right now that < can think of are NSMB, of which < already owns two versions on DS and 3DS, and Zelda, which is an HD remake. And perhaps Lego City Undercover.
That's not enough for < to buy the console.

< understands that's also a big draw for a lot of gamers. Personally < isn't a fan of strategy games and doesn't really know what it is anyway
Also it's just one game.
< think the Wii U is a fantastic piece of hardware, and < really wants some more reasons to buy one, perhaps a new Metroid Prime game would help?

Re: The You Game!
< doesn't understand why "Wii U has no games" is still an argument when Xbox One and PS4 has no terribly interesting launch titles either. Wii U will have a worthwhile selection of games by the time those consoles are out, and it already does anyway (and both consoles are not going to have fully fleshed out online features in every country at launch, meaning < would not be getting a PS4 at launch if it weren't for the fact <'s brother is excited for it and has already pre-ordered it). Plus, Wii U has a thriving Indie scene, and the eShop is the console equivalent to Steam with all of it's great special offers.
< does understand that gamers have preferences, but the Wii U has something for everyone right now. And that trend will continue. Hence, < thinks "Wii U has no games" is an invalid argument at the moment. Though nobody should buy something unless they really want it anyway.
---------------
< is downloading Sonic Generations mods, < is pumped that < may finally be able to play and create mods in the game.
<'s brother got a new laptop that runs Sonic Generations. It runs it well enough even if it's kind of jittery at times, but most mods should run smoother due to having less detail in the graphics department, and because of the fact that barely any mods use the Global Illumination capabilities of the Hedgehog Engine, because it's so difficult and expensive to render.
If only <'s brother told < the password to the laptop before he went to work, then < could get started on the testing. For now, < will just have to download mods on <'s laptop and transfer them over later.

Re: The You Game!
Whilst < thinks Wii U will rack up a very nice library of 1st party games in the next year or 2 < believes the Wii U's launch titles were weak compared to both Ps4 and Xbox 1. NSMB U wasn't enticing at all to < as <'s find this series of Mario games to get quite old fast. Nintendo land wasn't anything impressive, still boggles <'s mind how that game wasn't online; at least then it would have had some potential. Then of course there's Zombie U which most will agree that this game was quite bad. Also the third party games it received were games that were on both 360/Ps3 like a year before, so there wasn't really anything exciting in that department either.sonicbrawler182 wrote:< doesn't understand why "Wii U has no games" is still an argument when Xbox One and PS4 has no terribly interesting launch titles either. With Xbox 1 you have games like Ryse, Dead Rising 3 and Forza. Whilst Ryse seems like it relies heavily on quick time events, the game does boast nice visuals and could turn out well. Dead Rising 3 will most likely be awesome,< has never really played this series but its pretty popular and looks to be a great launch title. Of course theres also Forza, which is apparently utilizing "100%" of the Xbox 1's power according to the developer, whatever that means. These games are usually very good and have often been as good if not better than Gran Turismo.
With Ps4 you have Killzone Shadow Fall which so far, has to be the most visually stunning game at launch and they seemed to have improved all the bad things about Kz3 too; there were a lot of bad things in that games especially MP. Knack should be good, as its being developed by Mark Cerny who helped with games like Crash, Spyro, Jak and Sonic 2 aswell as designing the Ps4. Nice to see a fresh new, mascot platformer alongside an array of realistic games. Also Drive Club which < couldn't give a shit about but its developed by Evolution studios who made the Motorstorm games, so should be good.
Also there is the usual third party support with games like BattleField 4 and Fifa ( the best third party support will come out starting next year). There are exclusive launch window games like Infamous Second Son Titan Fall, just a mere month or 2 after launch. Also Ps4 is an indie powerhouse, <'s not sure which actaully will boast more indie support out of Ps4 and Wii U though. Of course we should wait for reviews of these games before we make full judgments but as of now < thinks they both have stronger launch titles than Wii U but time will tell which console will ultimately bei the best overall.

I really wish the game would go multiplat and I'd be a lot more excited for it... maybe later.Bzzit wrote:Dead Rising 3 will most likely be awesome,< has never really played this series but its pretty popular and looks to be a great launch title.
