So wait, there are no zip packs for those games? Bummer. I really wanted to download some packs.

Sorry for the bump!

After a huge inactivity, I found myself guilty of laziness and not uploading music to the channel. Partly because im aware of a possible partnership application on my main channel. I have ten tracks ready for tomorrow, and hope to finish uploading all music from The Blue Mountains and Picture City.

As for soundtrack after this game: I'd like to do either Rayman 2 or Rayman 3 for the GBA. Suggestions?

Definitely Rayman 2. ;)

By the way, I've found a way to rip the R2 N64 midi files. That means they're editable and people will be able to use them in their own music. I think RayFan will be especially interested. :P
There's noise in them though, because they don't have the instruments used in the game anymore (the instruments are as good as you can get though, I think).
You can fix that yourself though, as I included the instruments separately. And the sound effects while I was at it.
In the sound banks folder, files starting with "BANK_00" are instruments, "BANK_01" means they're sound effects. Files having the same number after "INSTR_" are the same instrument, just a different sample for it.
I guess the rest is easy to figure out on your own :)

Bloody hell Drolpiraat, this is amazing! I'll start on it as soon as I get home. But how did you do it?

The first two tools here allow you to do it: http://www.goldeneyevault.com/files.php?mode=11
I made my own crappy version of the Whale Bay theme with it: http://www.mediafire.com/?6eyu6shgsu8ze0s
It totally sucks though as I really have no time at all. In fact, I found this tool in one of my short 15-minute breaks. And made that Whale Bay "remix" in another. :/

My inactivity is way to large on the channel. I really hope I can catch up with my upcoming vacation.

Just a question: should I try to rip the Rabbids: Alive & Kicking music for RayTunes? I mean, it isn't part of Rayman anymore, so I prefer leaving it alone. If someone wants it though, I could try.

I would appreciate if it was also possible to rip RGH's and RRTIT's soundtracks too. :) Can you do that please?

Alright, I think I have all the music from Rabbids: Alive & Kicking now (which releases tomorrow - hehe). It's quite good for a Rabbids game, to be honest!
RGH, RRR2 and RRTiT should be ripped but it's a special format that nobody has deciphered yet. :/
I can't name the tracks though, obviously. So what do you all think I should do? Keep in mind that this is also a new game from Ubisoft, and they might not like it when I just share all that music here... Still, there's no soundtrack planned for it...

I can't really answer your question. What I am interested in however is how you got the music before the game was released!?

I didn't know you were from Belgium. I thought you were Dutch considering your username.

Because no game can escape the pirates' greed. Not even when it's not officially out yet.
Also, we mostly speak Dutch in Belgium. :P

Can anyone answer my question? Should I release the soundtrack or not? If I do, it won't have track names and Ubisoft might get angry since it's a new game from them. If I don't, you'll never have Alive & Kicking's music.

It's composed by Jennifer Kes, by the way. She did the music for RRTiT, and she's got some music from that game on her site: http://www.heydogg.com/site/music/
Sound design from Alive & Kicking is by Gianni Ricciardi, the guy who did Rayman M's sound design - I think that's why the music in that game reminds me a bit of Rayman M, too.

Maybe wait until after the release of the game to gain a better perspective on the matter.

I know you guys mostly speak Dutch. I'm not that stupid. :P
And hoe exactly does the pirate fulfill his greed...?

What kind of "better perspective"? I won't ever play the game so waiting won't really help.
Not that I won't wait till after release. Release is today and I still have work to do. ;)

By downloading the games, of course.

So we know how many tracks are from the game and how many aren't. I think it would be a good idea to only upload those that aren't, though I'm not sure yet.
