I wouldn't be opposed to having a co-operative 3D Rayman game, but I don't see how it could follow the traditional 3D formula without some form of compromise or lessening of the experience. I think a 3D-derived spin-off might work better, a la Ratchet and Clank All 4 One, whereby they take the fundamentals of 3D Rayman but modify it so that it can work in a multiplayer environment. In which case a LAN or Online setup can both work.

It's hard to design a game that supports both single-player and co-op gameplay and does a good job at both. I feel that often, one comes at the expense of the other: for example, mechanisms that leverage co-op feel clunky and superfluous when playing alone, and not leveraging such mechanisms in co-op gameplay feels like a missed opportunity. And it's probably even harder for 3D games than it is for 2D games because they are more complex.
I'm sure there's ways of making this work, but I'd rather not take any chances and enjoy a nice, single-player 3D platformer instead.

I think that having co-op options for a 3D Rayman game would be tough to pull off, but I think I'd be worth it to give it a shot. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of a 3D multiplayer platformer is Super Mario 3D World; it wasn't perfect, but at least in my opinion, that game made it so that multiplayer didn't take away too much from the single-player gameplay while still allowing multiple people to play through the game's levels.
If a 3D Rayman game did something like that and had the sort of multiplayer functions that Origins and Legends had, I could see it working pretty well. At the least, I'd like it if they had a multiplayer mode separate from the single-player story mode, with a Rayman M/Arena-style battle mode and maybe some minigames.
Like Greengoop said, I don't think multiplayer co-op should be shoehorned into the game if it isn't a good fit, but if they could make it work then I'd appreciate it.

I think doing that would mean sacrificing the single-player mode, so I don't think it's a good idea. Maybe it could be cool for a specific mini-game, though...

I mean… Nooo…

If I'm savouring a new 3D Rayman after over two decades of drought, I want to do it on my own time, at my own pace, and be totally immersed.
There's a saying which I think applies in that particular situation: "hell is other people"

I definitely realised that while playing Hollow Knight. I’d much rather play single player games alone and multiplayer games with friends.

It doesn't have much to do with the survey, but I think that current multiplayer games tend to try too hard to be competitive, even cooperative games. It's a shame because online gaming can be a lot of fun, but the fact that everything ends up revolving around competitiveness is too off-putting. Single-player games like Hollow Knight, no matter how difficult they are, are much more enjoyable without that pressure.

Any ideas for the next poll?

What Rayman game do you thinks deserves a remaster, maybe?

Nice!
I gave y'all a selection of different games... Which ones do you think should have a remaster/remake?

This is a tough one, honestly, mostly because I wanted to pick
three games. Which, I will still write about.
I'm afraid that any remake or remaster of Rayman 1 would make it lose it's charm that it has, especially with it's beautiful artwork.
Rayman 2, while I didn't vote for it on the poll due to the option limits, is still one I'd love to put my third vote on. It's had multiple re-releases over the years compared to anything else. Though I still feel it deserves some love.
Rayman 3 is not only my absolute favorite, but I just feel it deserves some solid spotlight as well because it is a really good game. Of all the HD texture packs and lighting mods you can do to this and make it look incredible, I feel a nice solid official approach could make this nice for folks wanting to get into it for the first time. Especially on modern game consoles.
Rayman Arena / M I feel are still a great game, fun multiplayer, and a remake/remaster of this could allow us to have actual online gameplay with friends which would make this even better.
As for everything else,
why?

I'm going to go with Rayman 2 and 3 here. I'd also like a Rayman M/Arena remake that is natively able to play online. I don't really have a problem with how the games already look though, but that would be my choice. I'd like the models to be based on the originals with a higher polygon count if this ever happened though. I don't want the wheel reinvented in places where it's not necessary.
As mentioned above, Rayman 1 would just lose its charm if it was remade, it's supposed to be the way it is. I don't see any reason for UbiArt remakes, that doesn't make sense. Rabbids games, no interest in those being remade personally. Globber, I really have no idea about this one, unless that's supposed to be a joke.

Globber is a troll option
I'd say R2 should definitely have a remaster/remake, the camera hasn't aged well at all.
Rayman M would be my second choice. I think R3 is good enough. A remaster wouldn't be bad at all, but I think it hasn't aged that bad.

Rayman Legends isn’t playable on aaanything, it needs a remaster desperately. And Globber.

Love the sarcasm.
I'll go with M/Arena and 2 for my picks.

R2 definitely needs a remake, or at least a definitive edition because even Revolution, the supposed definitive edition, lacks content from other versions.

I don't think that Rayman 2 necessarily needs a remake, but like I said
here, it's the only main series game for which there's a real opportunity.

Rayman Junior. I'm completely serious.
I don't mean a remaster or even a direct remake of the original game, but a revival of the concept. Bring it back as a low effort UbiArt game for mobile platforms, using the countless assets already made for Legends, Adventures and Mini. Give it to schools as a fun tool to help with education. I think there might be some potential there.
(But the remake they're actually working on is either R1 or R2.)

Not bad at all, but maybe teaching kids with a Subway Surfers/Minecraft parkour gameplay would help more at this point. TikTok has definitely been venom for the brains

What about a TTS Reddit story with a subway surfers game and a watermelon cutting video in the background thats subliminally teaching kids maths?
