Well, if both husband and wife have never had sex, there's no chance of getting an STD. Plus, I think I'd prefer to just have sex with my wife. It's more intimate that way.

Well you're totally wrong. HIV can also be can transmitted during pregnancy, and as love isn't eternal, you or your wife can catch it with someone else too.

Well, the HIV thing is a pretty small chance. Plus, at least half of all marriages are still normal, as it were. At least over here. I don't know about France.

Not too much. Most people are smart enough not to have kids if they have HIV, and if somebody has HIV, either they aren't sexually active, or they tell people they want to do it with. Everyone who has HIV and doesn't tell people are just assholes.

We have slightly less divorces in France than you have in Canada.
