Hahaha. I think that game uses a fizicks enjin instead of a physics engine

I think that's the only maraca where this occurs, I've tried on another but the same resultdidn't happen.

It's odd. There's so many glitches in that version though that I'm sure they must have at least noticed some of them.

Yes there are! It was so weird when that happened!

I started playing this now on my TV using the OSSC. PS1 version

About that glitch, it only seems to happen in that exact place. I tried in other places but the result was just a loss of one hit point. Why does that only occur there?

I have to actually try it on another version. I might check the Saturn or something but I doubt it will happen.

Cool, I might test it in other versions too to see if the same thing happens.

I wonder about the PC version since it's ported from that.

I'd try it except my left arrow key is still busted. On the bright side, my other computer is currently getting fixed so yay to me!

Maybe it's some combination of being so close to the bottom of the map, and the GBA's restricted FOV? I noticed the Electtons seemed to come from the bottom of the screen, like a fall death.

I think that's probably the case here since it doesn't seem to happen the same way in other versions. And yes, I noticed that too.

It's weird because it's not at the very bottom either and you can't even fall in that level. Though the y position is all that makes sense really since nothing else does.

Actually I think the only way you can fall off the screen in this level is if you don't jump on the maraca in the beginning and just walk off the platform.

There's that yeah. I think it's really weird though whatever is happening

The narrow viewport causes all sorts of weird nonsense in that version. Like you can't see Moskito while he's chasing you with the big fruit, right? And if he catches up it's maybe not as lethal as it should be? (Maybe I'm wrong. I'm going off YouTube videos I saw years ago. )

I tested that thing by the way where you hit the moskito really fast and it doesn't work on PS1. You can hit him at least 3 times in a row on GBA

Yes, if the timing is perfect enough you can beat both mosquitos immediately before they even fly away.

It's not as lethal probably because it's the invisible force you should be worried about in this stage. Although, it's very well covered up by the spiky fruit. I tested it on Rayman Advance, and I think it happened to me once in the PS1 version. Hm, maybe I should record a video on it....

Altogether? That's kinda cool
On PS1 it won't work, you can't hit him again as he flies away. I tried it
