Very true, or maybe just to piss you off since everyone knows how much you hate it.

I think the icons should be '♂' and '♀' rather than '' and''.

They fit better with the text of our usernames than the images do, and they look less ugly, too.

~I was going to tell the thing that my gender was 'Female' for the hell of it... but then I decided not to. However, I may change my mind at some point.

We're going to use better icons, but I don't really see the point in using text instead.

Personally, I think the text looks a little messier. In an image, you can clean it up, have AA/No AA, etc.

These days, browsers kind of add in their own AA to text, making it sometimes appear wonky at lower font sizes.

I keep finding myself looking at people's icons, even though I know all your genders already.

I'm probably alone on this one but I... kind of dislike their positioning? I'd personally be happier to see the icons displayed under the location box.

Yeah, as I said that's all I found. I'll try to edit them tomorrow evening if I actually have time with all that stuff going on, unless someone decides to take care of it.

There is a gap between the 'Location' and 'Tings' lines, though that's obviously caused by the Ting itself. As for your idea, I could go either way. But if we move the position of the sex-indicators to under 'Location', I think saying 'Gender: Male' or 'Gender: Female' in text would fit better than the icons.

It says it in that way in our profiles. I like the icons, a user can tell the sex of another by just reading the username basically.

I kind of agree with you, I suspected the icons to be under the location instead of next to the username.

Anyway, have you heard that Berlusconi has been attacked? Personally, I think he deserved it. He's such a creep D:

Berlusconi is awesome. He said that right-wing women are better-looking than left-wing women, thus logically making him awesome. Also, the world's most valuable bar of soap was made from his body fat, and that, too, makes him awesome.

He looks like a true mafioso now.

I think it would be difficult to alter these icons to make them look any more decent. I was thinking of something more Rayman-related. The first image that popped into my head was a tiny pirate's head with a respective blue/pink spring-like shape on it.

The male symbol is looking so much better now, but the female one looks unchanged. Maybe it's its light colour. It's more-or-less exactly the same colour as the ranks backgrounds. :/
