All of the environments look really beautiful, I can't wait to see what you have in stock for Rayman Alive.

Here a render of Carmen who made her debut in the Rayman Alive show. I also animated her swim cycle in the video. We felt that her frog-eyed look was outdated and unsuitable for a modern design of her character, so we put her eyes closer to where whales usually have them.
Improvements way be added as we go.

Pipann! I'm not sure if Ad relayed the message, but I wanted to tell you how adorable your Carmen is. When I saw her I was absolutely amazed. Your iteration is fantastic!

Nice work, I think this looks really cool!
I also echo what Hunch said about all the environments looking really beautiful!

I smell spring in the air! And it reeks of nostalgia...I can only think of...globs of baby...conceptual ideas.....hrg
Bring forth the musings of thoughtful thinking.

I've actually been working on a lot this year, but I keep trying to save it all for a potential next Rayman Alive, which probably isn't a good idea. I was just working on Bzzit recently:
(spent a while on the sound design and music too)
(The eyelashes are included in the model and for a female variant, and hidden on Bzzit):
Also, finally trying to set up a cutscene:
I'll post a lot more of what I was working on in the next bit, I just want to stagger the video uploads a bit

Looking pretty cool, would these segments be in a more open space (think something like the dogfighting levels in Crash 3), or is it intended to be more on-rails?

It’s very refreshing to see a 3D model of Bzzit’s original design. Looking really good.

Mostly free-flying, though it transitions between some on-rails-ish sections too. Initially I pictured him controlling like the flying shell or a plane, but that seemed too derivative, not to mention silly and stiff since he's a bug

Thanks I did model him a couple times like 10+ years ago, but I don't think they compare

Ahh that makes sense, similar to some of the levels I've seen in Star Fox games then by the sounds of it, at any rate it'll be cool to fly Bzzit in 3D ^_^

This is looking very promising!
I've always been following this project from the dark (no pun intended ), and I'm beyond happy to see it's still going after so many years!
It's been such a great inspiration for many community members and the current Rayman fangame scene wouldn't be same if it wasn't for Revenge of the Dark.
The day where I first discovered this project so many years ago on YouTube is when I realized just how alive and capable the Rayman community really is despite all the years of disappointments from Ubi, and since then I've had a great time exploring the community's fanworks and trying to create a few things of my own!
Thank you so much for your dedication!
