Also thanks to icup we have a screenshot of it being unlocked:
And I made a new video for the level:
The time is pretty tight on this one! A tips is to not charge your fist longer than necessary for those rising platforms.
Edit: It's also very confusing how the N-Gage version handles this "Ly's Punch Challenge 1" on N-Gage is this level, but modified to not have the skull platform and no timer. It replaces Magma Mayhem. They then renamed the original "Ly's Punch Challenge 1" to "Ly's Punch Challenge 2", "Ly's Punch Challenge 2" to "Ly's Punch Challenge 3" and "Ly's Punch Challenge 3" to "Ly's Punch Challenge 4". But I have no idea if this level, now Ly's Punch Challenge 4, is actually accessible in the N-Gage version. It's in the game data, but the level curtain doesn't appear in the overworld. Either there's some other condition to unlock it here or it's unused.

Yep! Another tip - you don't actually have to jump on the rightmost collapsing platform @0:42 in your video. You can jump from the penultimate one onto the slippery platform on the left and grab hold to it. That saves a couple of seconds and makes it much less tight.

One mystery down! Well done, and thanks for updating the wiki.
Looks like the only thing left is to find out whether Ly's Punch Challenge 4 is accessible in the N-Gage version, but it would be surprising given how similar it is to its own Ly's Punch Challenge 1. It could very well be nothing more than leftovers from the game's development.

Hi! After noticing a similar stock sound sample between Rayman 2’s main theme and Might and Magic VII, now I’ve found another similar sample in both series!
The first seconds of Razoff’s first theme ("Let the Hunt Begin!") from Rayman 3 has identical sounds to the "Exploration V" track used in Heroes of Might and Magic II!
I couldn’t find the latter on YouTube, so here’s quick video comparison on Twitter: https://twitter.com/i/status/1646135779570204672
Of course, same goes for the beta version!
Guess that’s why my brain kept humming the full tune whenever I’m hearing this in Heroes II!
Also congrats to RayCarrot for the discoveries in those versions of Rayman 3! Now we can finally experience these secrets "legitimately"!

I vaguely remember that in the snow level when there where hoodlums flying holding a balloon and you shot the balloon instead the hoodlum would inflate and explode. but I'm not entirely sure anymore. does anyone have a video of that? xd
Just a quick meme totally not related to the most recent Nintendo Direct
It's funny because I'm both of these, so I can experience twice the pain.

At least Metroid prime 4 has been announced. The only way we'll get Rayman 4 is if the sparks of hope DLC sells well and considering how utterly insane Ubisoft's sales expectations are the chance of a forth game is extremely uncertain

To be fair, Rayman 4 has been planned many times in the past and Metroid Prime 4 was teased as far back as 2007 in MP3's 100 % ending, and the latter already got a restart and isn't fully safe from an endless cycle of revisions/delays right now.
But yeah, Rayman 4 is far less likely... not that I really mind at this point since there's a 99,9 % chance Ubi will screw it up anyway.

I was playing Rayman 3 on PS2 and it said something like, "Incorrect position, please correct ASAP." Does anyone knows what this means?

Also, I've been replaying the game in PS2 in order to improve my score in the Hall of Fame... I think I won't touch this game for a while after I finish this run

I've finally started playing Rayman 3 again, and I was just struck by the Bégoniax level. When you hang around inside her house for a while, you really get a sense for what a place of profound misery it is. I'm pretty sure that if you stand near her cauldron after the music ends, you can hear the whines of her previous victims. Then you look around and see all the books and bottles on the shelves, which (knowing the backstory) are probably all about brewing the perfect beauty potion. Each book is another dent in her sanity, each bottle another blot on her physical appearance. Then there's the fact that she nearly kills Rayman, unless you assume that a "GAME OVER" in this section doesn't mean death, but rather being subjected to her sadomasochistic fantasies for a while! And to think the original plan was for her to be an ally to Rayman…
Also, I've probably mentioned this before, but has anyone else noticed that the Teensie Highway seems to constrict into an elliptical shape shortly before Rayman falls off it? That is to say, the same shape as the mirrors he uses to teleport once he actually does fall off? I noticed this many many years ago (long before I joined RaymanPC), and I've always wondered if there's a connection…

One detail I love about this is game is the storytelling. A good example to me is, the last time we see Globox in HH, we see him being carried into a room full of Armaguiddons, after that he dissapears until TTotL. Next time we see him in TTotL, he's riding an Armaguiddon! This also explains how he escaped the Horrible Machine. Just something I noticed on my most recent playthrough, or maybe everyone already noticed this and I'm just dumb

Very well put out, PluM! That's the kind of things I really appreciate to read on the depth (and horrors ) of the Rayman universe!
Also I noticed the Armaguiddon thing during one of my last playthroughs! When I was much younger, I just assumed this was another secret room and you had to be fast enough to get inside, but no, it was actually some storytelling!

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this. I have myself, Greenness and Raideryde have been archiving rare rayman pictures aswell as sifting through magazine articles for the last couple of days for a small project. I stumbled across the PLAY Magazine article which featured Rayman 3 dated back to April 2003. It had a lot interesting tidbits about the games development, interviews, artwork and screenshots of CPA (I think). Surprisingly, it was really in-depth, and I think it would be worth sharing with everyone. This is probably the most comprehensive look into Rayman 3. I'm not sure if it's been seen before. But if it's you're first time, here you go.
