Oh god I just remembered that as well! I have school, AND Taekwondo on Thursday! And Taekwondo is only about 2 hours after school! If I make it to EBGames before Taekwondo I won't have a lot of time to play it! I'll probably be busy inspecting my extra goodies in the C.E until I realise there's 5 minutes until takewondo. No fair, Y DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE ON THURSDAYS IN AUSTRALIA!?! I had this same problem on the release of Pokemon Black and White, but I still managed to get it due to the extra hours on Thursdays.

Holy shit..I just found my inner Spiral :boon:
It’s interesting how anyone’s behaviour can now be described as ‘Spiral’, regardless of whether it recalls mine or not.
Nah, it was just that typical pessimistic thing.

Yo guys n' gals! I just read that too from the 3DS blog and man, I just got my mind blown!! (actually, if it's like a modern Rayman 1 with more variety in gameplay, no wonder if it would get such a score) Now that we are closer to the release date, I think I'll come here again to chat a lil' about it... But I was going to get it for 3DS, which is the only console I've been playing this year (and I've been pretty quiet about everything because of the lack of good games on it) and I heard it's not even going to be released on handhelds this year... if that's true, it really sucks. But if the game really is that great, I'll be glad to wait just a little longer.

Yeah right, I get home from school everyday at 2:50 PM and it's arriving in the mail! :proud:

The wait is going to be all the much easier for me as Sonic generations is due this week and that will tide me over until Origin's release :)

9.5?!

Wow, I would love to read Nintendo Power's review. Can anyone do a scan of it?

In the European release date, it will be the day I must start study for the 2nd HCA test so... crap. Well, I also don't know if my game will arrive in that date.

I hope the demo comes very soon to PSN. :P

I love that the Nintendo fanboys in the comments are getting upset over Rayman receiving a higher score than Mario.

Actually, it surprised me Nintendo Power giving a higher score to it than to SML3D. And attention, it is the Wii version getting a 9.5. Now I will love to see the HD console reviews.

As I told before, I'm expecting for Rayman Origins having an average of 8 in review scores. This first one already passes through my initial score expectation.

I'm also a Mario fan, but let's face it: Rayman Origins deserves. :P

Sadly many people forget that Rayman is an European rival to Mario and Sonic. For a game to be excellent it isn't necessary to be made in Japan, folks.

Btw the huge posters hanging down at MCM Expo for Origins mentioned 'Demo coming soon' although it didn't say when. Most likely any week now if they want to time it before the game comes out.

True, I hope we have more news about the DEMO soon. When does the PSN is updated every week? Fridays? Nintendo eShop is updated every Wednesday for example.

For me the DEMO could already appear next week. :P

PSN updates every Wednesday some time in the afternoon about 6-7pm. Unfortunately I doubt the Wii will get a downloadable demo due to file size constraints on there. Why they don't do Wii demo discs on the front of magazines like they used to on PS2 I don't know. Either way PSN and XBLA will most likely have a demo very soon.

If I was one, I would be probably upset. At Nintendo for making a Mario game with quality lower than freaking Rayman Origins ED. Let's be honest, unless developers outdid themselves with extras, such a score is at least suspicious.

Whoa! That...that's magnificent, and well deserved too. It looks like Rayman 2 might have some competition.

If the video contains spoilers, I won't watch it.

If the DEMO is to be released before the European release date. Then there is one option out of two: The demo can come now next week (day 9) or in two weeks (day 16).

I don't think they would send the demo 2 days before the game release, but this can happen too.

No spoilers, its just a review/preview of sorts with various non-spoilerific gameplay footage in the background, much like what is seen in the Daily Bubble.

She also pronounces 'lum' wrong :P
