Age is completely irreverent in the Glade of Dreams. For we know, all characters are ageless.

Hmm, that being said, we know of Baby Globoxes for one thing, and I believe Rayman 3 alludes to Rayman 1 taking place when Rayman was a child himself, so while age may not mean the same thing in the Glade, we know that characters can mature and grow up.

Maybe. Just because someones ageless doesn't mean they grow older. I think they should've had a different intro for Rayman Legneds.

Heh, I didn't say that age worked as it would here, merely that there is still some concept of growth.
Hm, on the other thing, could you elaborate on what you actually wanted out of the intro?

Well this isn't the thread for it but maybe while the gang is sleeping they see a woman chasing after someone who looks like Ales. they follow them to a tent where they see paintings and discover five Ales each one heading to a different painting with Barbara chasing one. With nothing better to do, Rayman and his friends go help Barbara and stop Ales from causing trouble.

The plot with seeing paintings was scrapped.

Indeed it was, but seeing as these paintings still exist in Rayman Legends, just as portals to other places in Legends instead of imagined worlds, I think the idea could still work.

I believe that Rayman Legends made it clear there's a bigger lifespan for the Glade's living beings OR that the Glade's years are not the equivalent to the Earth years.

I think second sounds more like a right answer, seeing how after 100 years, Rayman and friends still look same. If it was just a bigger lifespan, they would at least look different.

Or maybe the inhabitants of the Glade of Dreams are Time Lords.

Well, a friend said in his first game (R1) he was 12 years old, so here's my estimates:
Rayman 1 12
Rayman 2 13
Rayman 3 14
Rayman Raving Rabbids 15
Rayman Orgins 16
Rayman Legends Same as Orgins

I am not counting Orgins or Legends because I do not count them.

Please don't double post; if you want to add to a post you've made, hit the edit button. Also what exactly makes him 15 based on that exact image?

I just noticed that he's using his in-game shoe models in that picture, hence the low-poly-ness, and that it looks like some bizarrely poor Photoshopping was done on his right shoe to make it look 'smooth', but utterly failed.

i do not know if this counts as a double post, however I truly beileve he is 15 and I will always beileve it forever.
oh, and my other post said a friend told me rayman was 12 in R1. i do not know why, she told me. she did not send a website either. -.-

Hm, the most information we have on Rayman's age from Rayman 1 comes from 2D Madness, which refers to him being a kid. Though that could be more in reference to the age of the franchise itself in retrospect.

I think it was more directed at the franchise

- I don't think you can really think about Rayman's age, since he's not a human, so it'd be a bit like dog years. It doesn't really have much bearing

The franchise is almost 19, not sure how the 15 comes into it if one applies that logic.
