Black 2 and White 2 has been released in Japan, thought I'd drop by and let you guys know.

Black and White 2 now has a release date of 7th of October for the US and 12th for Europe.

Right guys, something big is going to be announced on the 8th, but what could it be?

Hoenn Remake or Black/White 3? Or are they stupid enough to start a new main series game? (Pokemon Pink and Violet? )

Black and White 2 are out, both here and in the US and everywhere else.
I'm guessing it'll be a remake if the trend is followed, but given they defied tradition by releasing a numbered sequel in the place of an enhanced remake, who knows?

My only concern is it being a 3DS exclusive, especially if it's a Hoenn remake. They never did it for BW2 but some of the new spin-off games are 3DS exclusive.

I was forced to sit through a Pokemon movie...
It surprises me that I actually followed the anime at one point.

The movies are far more decent than the actual anime series. I still follow the anime but only when I so happen to bump into an episode on TV.

Whatever comes out next will be 3DS exclusive.The Nintendo DS is not a very active console anymore and people complained about Black & White 2 not being for it. According to rumour, the system will be changed bit in future Pokemon games. We'll just have to wait and see.

This is where the stream will be tomorrow which will start 8PM Japan time which is 11AM GMT and 6AM EST. I doubt i'll be getting up at that time for it.

I'll be at college during that time, so I'll probably consult Bulbapedia for the information.

Seems like we're getting Gen 6.

Can't say i'm too disappointed because holy fuck those graphics but fuck now I need a 3DS.

Although I dislike the idea of a Gen 6 and prefered a Hoenn remake I must admit the new camera angle and the new graphism of battles look super.

Damn, I'm getting late... I should get the White version the soonest I can.

Imagine a Hoenn remake with those graphics though, perhaps it could come after this game? And thankfully there'd be no 6 month waiting for the international release.

I'm also hoping for character customization since that girl trainer is blergh.

EDIT: What do we think of the starters? I think Fennekin (The fire one) is the best looking of the bunch.

Well, this is surprising, Pokemon is making its proper debut on the 3DS system. It seems the main series is finally making the jump to full 3D, and with new perspectives, interesting.
I don't know what to make of it yet, I'll just wait until more is revealed before forming any opinions.

I totally agree, finally there won't be 2D-Sprites battles anymore!

The 3D battles are kinda convincing me to get the X or Y. But I need to get Gen 5 first. 8X

Honestly, if I was picking blindly, I think I would pick Froakie (Yes, again a water starter), but Fennekin looks pretty nice too. Chespin disappoints me a little.

But its not my definitive choice, I still need to see the evolutions to do a final decision.

Like in Gen 5 I was blindly picking Snivy but after the reveal of the evolutions I decided I would go for Tepig.

Meh I never did pick the grass starters, although I much prefer this one to Snivy, I hope it turns out to be a Grass/Ground or Grass/Rock type since it looks like a mole.

Alright 2 things:
1.) The 3d element looks incredible.
2.) I do not want to complain here but a 6th gen already? Christ, that was fast.

It seems like Pokemon is just free money to Nintendo now, however this game doesn't at all look dissapointing, but I can't believe a gen 6 ALREADY exists, but hey, Gotta Catch 'em all, right? I can see why they never say that anymore.

If I do buy this though on launch next October I'm going with Fennekin.

Quite fast? But Black/White came out 2 years ago.

And Black and White 2 came out a year ago.
Though it seems 2 years have gone by fast in that case.
