Why? They're no different than any other live-action game commercials.

Maybe they're not even actors. They're possibly just some developers (or people related to the developers) giving an idea of how the trailer was supposed to be. I can tell by the way how they overreact, they don't seem to be professional. This was a sketch after all, that's the reason why the recording looked home made too.

An actor is anyone who assumes a specific role, the word isn't confined to being professional or famous.

So, based on stereotypes, people give nicknames. In conclusion, she's a viking girl for popular vote

Not necessarily, acting is a career. You can say "oh, I can cook, I make perfect sandwiches" but you're not a chef. For a large company like ubisoft, the first impression is important, so they always get some good actors (not necessarily famous) to asume a certain role for their commercials (oh yeah and Kal Penn...). Even the trailer of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 doesn't have overreacting actors.

Now...have Electoons appeared in any of the trailers? Maybe in RO Rayman had to rescue electoons like in R1,and in RL Rayman has to free Lums like in R2?

It’s very likely that the character was based on popular perceptions of Vikings. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her identified as one in the game.

And spiraldoor came to save the day, finally.
Sorry Hunch, I choose the... "ignorant" side. I mean, you don't need to look too closely in ancient cultures when discussing about cartoon characters (mainly because we're talking about the Rayman Origins series, the second least serious games of the franchise after the rabbids). Questioning whether the red-haired girl is really a viking or not is like questioning if the vikings of How to Train your Dragon really qualify as Vikings and are historically correct. It's just a cartoon character, it's supposed to be based on viking OR barbarian stereotypes. Don't worry, I'll stop calling her "Viking Girl" when her real name is confirmed

Asterix has vikings, so I guess it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
