Approved.

Anyway, I'll try to do my possible and write this installer and this launcher, but for Windows release, Omar put 4 executables, one for each game. And for other OS, I'd need these 4 executables as well or at least command to launch.
And don't worry, I really think that installers, launchers and other small UI are just the small visible parts of the iceberg that hide a very huge work from Omar to make these games run smooth and nice.

Give it a read, it provides a summary of the project, if you're still confused after that, I'm sure a contributor will be more than happy to explain.

@LoveMetal, RibShark, Truner: Like said before, I only got Windows and I think testing it out on native hardware would work more accurate than on emulators. I tryed to install Ubuntu once but I didn't manage to get everything working on there. I sadly won't be any help to you except maybe releasing it. I am also very excited to get Rayman Optimum working on multi platforms :D
If you need any information on how Rayman Optimum works on Windows please let me know.

Ladies and gentlemen, hop on the hype train! I guess this means we are going to have a pretty amazing release here.

emshomar, LoveMetal: We should start a chat somewhere. Also anyone else interested in helping out. IRC maybe?

Unless you have a BNC, IRCs are annoying, as chatlogs aren't easily accessible. Why not a Skype group?

So... Anybody intersted ?

And isn't that illegal with GOG.com ?

I suggest a Skype Group too. If you don't have me on Skype yet, you can add me. Hereis my Skype name: Raymar297
I never did a Group in Skype so maybe Truner can do that?

A'ight. technology4617, same as everywhere else (I like to bitch about DOSBox's settings and filters, so I'd like to be part of the group).

Leaving a Skype group doesn't indicate a departure from Skype itself, from what I can fathom, the plans here are to form another Skype group solely dedicated to the Rayman Optimum project.

This to be honest, I only want to invite people who are actually useful. (harsh as it sounds)

Because it''s entirely your call, right? I've done various tests for Omar in the past, and made suggestions about the program, so, yeah, I'm not accepting a "no" from anyone but Omar himself. ;)

Well technically, this whole thing is about making certain, existing aspects of Rayman Optimum multiplatform. Those can be tested in-house and have nothing to do with DOSBox.

Let's not forget that Omar isn't working on this alone, so you know... other contributors can test it. Don't beg for early access, you'll see the results sooner or later. :P
