That's something that unfortunately most people *cough* most YouTubers *cough* tend to forget. And yet what it happens often is the game doing lots of favours to the fans and they being ungrateful. *Looks back to the RO reveal in 2010*

I would mind the human factor if there were more humans, or if humans took up the majority of the Glade, but there don't and aren't. If anything, they could be just another small subspecies of the Glade, or perhaps she's the only one.

And I also don't think that a barbarian is so "unlinked" with the Glade. At least we aren't talk about something like this:

Wha...
I admit, intially, the idea of having Humans in the Glade was one that I met with heavy resistance, but, as of late, I don't really mind, just as long as no relation or mention of Earth comes into play, I'll be happy.

I believe there are humans co-existing in the Glade. The reasons are unknown but I believe it is a true thing. Rayman somehow could visit Earth, and Betina was living in the Glade.

Putting Justin Beaver is a sports game makes no sense. What did he even do to get his character as a reward?

Why would you remind of us that game Haruka.

Anyways, I think the whole 'Barbara' drama is pointless, I remember day 1 she was introduced people really disliked her, I actually didn't mind her, in fact I find her to be an interesting character. I'm glad they gave her quite a bigger role, after all that CGI trailer kicked ass.

Solid argument.
We tolerated giant mountains of ice cream, cake and frying pans. We tolerated robotic pirates from outer space. We tolerated sadomasochistic witches. We tolerated worlds made of frozen fruit, wine and gigantic mexican kitchens with singing sausages. But we can't tolerate the facts that humans have existed in the Glade since a long time? Don't wanna bring the educational games as canon but... hey, it's possible. What about the Mario universe? for those who don't know, Mario lives in a place named "Mushroom World", which isn't the Earth.

He's human, and while the rest of his world is composed by weird creatures and animals, there are some rare but existant humans. Why? because the whole thing is surrealistic, and it can be as weird as it can.

Don't forget about Space Mama, who, despite the whole limbless thing the first game had going on, is pretty much a person, compared to the rest of the game's odd characters. The Nymphs also have the same biology as humans, and Clark, despite being called a giant, looked pretty much like a person, except for his weird frog face. Ly also looked like a person in the Gameboy games, so this isn't even the first time the Glade's had human-like characters. It isn't a thing worth complaining about.
Also, Barbara's sisters don't even appear to be all humans, as Estela looks more like a living skeleton than a human.

heck. Joe the Extra-terrestrial has a picture of a limbed woman in his bar.
I dislike Barbara because she's a blatant Mary Sue who takes too much spotlight. That's it. Otherwise I wouldn't mind if the devs were not so fond of her.

She isn't a Mary Sue. She is exactly like all the other characters. A Mary Sue is a character with no defined flaws or imperfectness. Barbara clearly isn't too bright, has missing teeth, and is a barbarian. Barbarians aren't exactly the most glamorous people. In the actual world she probably would be more of a tomboy, but she is but one character in one game.
The only reason she's being heavily advertised was because on of the biggest complaints about Rayman Origins was it's lack of character variety. As I have stated before, you don't have to play as her. You can completely ignore her for the most part, except for rescuing her at the very beginning of the game. Again, it's not worth complaining about at all.

I ask again: Barbara has several playable sisters. Why is she more advertised than the others?

Hey, Raven, did you know that Rayman, Globox and the Teensies all have many playable skins?
If you still feel otherwise, note that she is a new character who was designed to fit into the environment. Of course she's going to be somewhat featured.

I just don't find her all that interesting. She's just a girl that acts more manly.

At what point in time were we ever supposed to find these characters particularly interesting? Did Rayman, Globox or the Grand Minimus in Origins/Legends have such invested personalities that the newcomer Barbara is now 2shallow4u? I think she has a pretty cool design; she would be my second choice, next to Rayman.

Like Adsolution, I would also feel more disturbed if there were a good number of humans in the Glade, but it isn't like the humans are overpopulating the Teensies so I think everybody needs to deal with the Barbara factor.

Is just me opinion sir. I'll admit that in terms of controls she's the best out of the four.
