That's actually pretty cheap compared to most CEs.

Did you check HER already, spiraldoor? she has eyeslashes and long hair too, not only a pink costume. What do you expect that teensy to be? gay?

There is only one way to solve this mystery: We should choose that character and pull the Bubble Dreamer's beard, to see what he says about the character, but obviously, it's a female teensy, possibly to give an option for female gamers. What? 20 characters and all of them are men? nah.

It looks like it was true that every costume has the BD also tell the story of it.

Like I said, there are four characters, all of whom we know to be male. Changing their costumes does not change this. You seem to be suggesting that the game literally features twenty different heroes, but I’ve seen no evidence to support this claim.

Exactly, for example my SPORE: Galactic Edition made me burp 70€ away to Electronic Arts. I think it was a fair deal knowing the content of this Collector's Edition.

I also said before that while people complain that "Rayman Origins is a good game to be bought only when it gets in the 20€" (as I already read in a certain place, and with people agreeing) and that "Asking 65€ for Rayman Origins' Collector's Edition is asking too much." I find funny that when it is about other games (normally Mature-rated games) with a Collector's Edition, asking the same pricing or way more (like Sonic Generations' Collector's Edition, in which SEGA is asking 100€ for it) there's no problem at all. A friend of mine was also telling me that he found "too much" Ubisoft asking 64,99€ for the CE of RO while Nintendo asks 60€ for TLOZ: Skyward's Sword, and the contents of this last one being a Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus integrated and a soundtrack selection CD. That's true that it brings a Wii Remote, whose valour in the market stands in the 50€, but lets remember that Ubisoft isn't Nintendo, and I'm sure the cost of production of a Wii Remote must be for the company around the 10€ or less. Resuming: Nintendo does not lose significant profit by "offering" Wii Remotes in their new Zelda game. Facts are facts.

@Spiraldoor
Actually, every teensy is different, and as I said before, (every teensy has his own name and story told by the bubble dreamer when you pull his beard, so yeah, there are 20 different heroes. The only ones that seem to have no story are the "crossdressed" characters like the Globox Teensy. The bubble dreamer said something like "Wow globox, you looks smaller!". Not all of them are just "skins", they're characters. )

Are you telling me that we won't play as "Dark Rayman" but rayman dressed as him?, come on...

If that turns out to be true, then my prediction was correct.

I guess I'll be busy in that day after dinner, and before going to bed. :P

Didn't some preview say that the different characters all have backstories told by Bubble Dreamer? I don't remember which one it was, but it might suggest that they really are supposed to be different characters, which would be pretty cool imo.

Ok spiraldoor, not only me, but also El Dango. Both of us have enough evidence to support the fact that every character is different. Also, there aren't only 2 teensies in the whole franchise, they're obviously all different, it isn't impossible for the species to have a female member. Globox and Red Globox are different cases, they can be in the same place at the same time because...well, as said before, Polokus hasn't created time yet, so there can be paradoxes

So what do you say, spiral? is it a female teensy? or gay? :mryellow:

I guess I'll be around the PSN in the update hour, to be sure that the demo appears and that I can download it and start playing and share my first thoughts here.

Where can I see the Bubble Dreamer giving different names to the skins? I just watched the 25-minute video, and he never speaks to any of the Teensy skins as if they were new characters. If he called out names like Joe and Bob, you’d have a point, but ‘gothic Teensy’ could just as easily refer to the costume itself.

Considering that Dark Rayman does not really exist and is only an illusory spell created by Mr Dark and devoid of free will or cognition (not to mention the fact that he’s evil and would never carry out Rayman’s heroic deeds), yes, it seems reasonable to say that the Dark Rayman skin is really Rayman in a costume.

I still regard ‘Bad Rayman’ as no more than a dodgy translation from an obscure spin-off.

Hmmm, the music in the death trailer seems to be inspired from this:

At least it sounds very similar at times.

Sorry, but you are definitely overestimating Nintendo's hardware profits. The sole "shell" and strap probably cost around 5€. And do not forget patent licenses. And VAT. And customs. I think they make around 13€ of "profit" per remote, and this does not include R&D costs.

Which sort of would make sense, as Bad Rayman's color palette (not in technical sense) looks darker than Dark Rayman's one in my opinion.

That's just so unfair! Amreanica always wins when it comes to release dates! Ubisoft is French!
Why will it be released in America first?

In which case ‘Dark Rayman’ is a made up name from an even more obscure spin-off; at least Rayman Designer and Rayman Junior were developed by Ubi, unlike Rayman Advance.
