Oh yeah, because complaining always works an is always solution to everything...not.
Either accept her, or don't use her. It's not like you are forced to play as her or that you will be in later games.

So who was complaining that their childhood was ruined by the new Pac-Man game again?

Well, thats a different case. This new Pac-Man game looks overall bad, has a bad gameplay and people who are going to play it would be forced to play as this terrible version of Pac-Man. Not to mention the fact I loved Pac-Man World 1 when I was kid so I dislike the fact that something I loved got turned into trash. Rayman Legends is a beautiful looking game with many characters to choose from and complaining about one character that you are not forced to play as makes no sense.

That's clearly aimed toward complaining in general.

I said complaining is not always solution to everything.
I never said that complaining is not sometimes solution to some situations (insert new Pac-Man here)

not always can mean it only works sometimes.

I think the game looks fun. It looks like it's just an update to the Pac-Man World games, just with added emphasis on, you know, things Pac-Man actually does, like eating lots of things. In the Pac-Man World games, Pac-Man only ate collectibles, and there were barely any ghosts. The new game has Pac-Man chomping as his main move, and the ghosts are the main enemies. I also like the concept of having different power ups that do different things, like the chameleon power up, or the ice power up, and even the metal power up from the Pac-Man World games is coming back too, but it's redesigned.

While I can agree with you that Pac-Man's new design is... odd, you can't complain about his personality yet. We haven't seen how he'll act, and who knows, maybe he'll be, you know, likable. Pac-Man in the Pac-Man World games really didn't have much personality until the 3rd one, and in fact, the first game showed him to be an asshole. I do have some issues with the cartoon and the video game, like apparently the main four ghosts are good guys, so that means no awesome boss fights with them, and I'm not a big fan of Pac-Man's new friends, who, from what I've seen, have as much personality as a plank of wood.

The only reason you're complaining is because of nostalgia. You have to accept that things change, and when things change, you have to get used to it. The same could be said for a lot of people on this forum, too.

Oh wait isn't this rayman thread

So, I'm guessing that the first world is called Once Upon A Time. I thought they had changed the name of Teensies In Trouble, but then I looked back and saw that it was the same on the portrait. Either that or each loading screen will have "once upon a time" on it.

well.. I've been checking some previews...

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/14/pa ... chameleon/

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/201 ... 3-preview/

http://www.nintendofuse.com/2013/06/12/ ... e-e3-2013/

So far, previews say that the game is slow paced, and the camera is weird, but the game is "okay for kids" and makes "good advertisement of the TV Show".
Well, there you go, guys, Pac-Man is fucked.

Eh, I like games people would consider bad. For example, Pac-Man Party and The Munchables. Both games got mediocre reviews, but I still think they're great. We'll just have to wait until it comes out to see how bad it is.

I disliked Pac-Man Party alot. It was first game that ruined Pac-Man's image and it was just a Mario Party rip-off. I am pretty sure that even the people who don't mind Pac-Man being a kid in new games will agreee that Pac-Man Party was a bad rip-off.

on contraire, I actually think Pac-Man Party did quite a few things better than Mario Party 9. In Mario Party, winning a game comes down almost entirely to luck, while in Pac-Man Party, you have time to think ahead and, due to the rolls not actually being random, adds a lot more strategy to it than Mario Party 9's "WHOOPS YOU JUST LOST HALF YOUR MINI-STARS, FUCK YOU BUDDY" thinking. There's also a bit of risk-reward to it with the Power Pellets. It's actually one of the better Mario Party rip-offs, especially compared to Sonic Shuffle and, god forbid, Dokapon Kingdom.

Also, it's more of a Monopoly rip-off than Mario Party, but whatevs.

Mario Party 9 being a bad game doesn't make another better. Pac-Man Party is a tired, uninspired, visually unappealing, generic, low budget, lame party game. Namco wants to have their Mario but they don't know how to handle it and the result is those kinda "meh" games that nobody remembers a year from now.

The sad truth is that Pac-Man had huge potential to be popular as Mario. In my opinion, Pac-Man 2 for SNES was a first big mistake. I am sorry, but that game was just bad in my opinion. Pac-In-Time was ok. Pac-Man Ghost Zone was supposed to be made for PS1 but it was cancelled:

Pac-Man World 1 is a masterpiece. After I played it, I thought that he is gonna end up successful like Mario. And it looked like that. Pac-Man World 2 and 3 were really good games. What is a traditional rule after trilogy? A Karting spin-off. Pac-Man World Rally got decent race tracks, but Soundtrack is the thing that shines. Retro Maze Remix is my favourite Pac-Man tune ever. After Pac-Man World Rally, things went downhill. It was clear that Namco was not focusing on him anymore, and that he is getting forgotten. After 5 years of waiting, Instead of getting Pac-Man World 4 or somethin like that, we got a Mario Party rip-off :pascontent:
Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures does not look good, and it is clear that 3D Platformers like Sonic Lost World and Super Mario 3D World are gonna outsell it and Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures will end up like Bomberman Act Zero. Oh yeah, and the new Cartoon is probably not gonna last 2 seasons.

I liked Pac-Man Party. It's not a killer game, but it's okay, and it's clearly better than Mario Party 9. Also, Pac-Man is more popular than Mario, the only difference is that his games (including the Pac-Man World series) don't sell a single shit.

GROW THE FUCK UP.

Sorry, I couldn't handle myself. Dude... really, it's just a character, I don't mind if you don't like her, it's your opinion after all. What pisses me off is that you're becoming a whiny fucknut just because YOU THINK she doesn't fit. Sadly for you, she fits, because Michel Ancel fucking wants, he can even add elephants to the Glade and it'll fucking fit. Why? Because the Glade is fucking surreal. Dude... Mountains of Cake, Robo-Pirates, Dancing Sausages.... humans aren't a problem at all. Jesus.

Funny, because Pac-Man World 1 and World 2 both sold really good. Only one that did not sell well was World 3.

As harsh as Sergio was, the fact remains that you're willing to complain over something, which all things considered, is rather petty.
