EDIT: Anyway, I just received a reply from a guy called Chris, who presumably works for Ubi. He said that the forums will hopefully be back in February.

That will probably be the 28th and not the 1st...

But I do know Chris is the same person as UbiRazz.

Chris is UbiRazz? Well, they did say they are working on it, so it will be more than just an erky forum. But Chris/UbiRazz is really nice and friendly. He sounded quite honest about it.
