I don't mind the ambiance music myself, but that is a good point.

How so? I have the North American version and I have no problem with the game at all. Unless you're referring to the PAL version.

Hmm. I'll have to look again. It is just so that I have seen that you can skip various scripted events by exploiting certain glitches(like Skipping The Cave of Bad Dreams Visit). You can even skip to the final boss without even having any of the masks because of exploited glitches. But I'll try to see to which version that it is possible in.

Oh yeah, that reminds me, how do you do those glitches, they have me a bit curious.

I think most of them are barrel glitches where you throw the barrel up, take a hit and catch it then it says go. I think R4Y actually posted a video from the Japanese Revolution a while back, with skipping the cave of bad dreams if I remember correctly.

Yes he did, and I have to look at that video again in the glitches section.

All of R4Y's first posts were about skipping things in Revolution.

My first posts were about Rayman until I stopped being too shy but then I just went on an off topic frenzy
I have to actually play R2 again and I'm not sure which version since I have so many

Was it known that the butterflies in Rayman 2 were already called Popolopoï ? "popolopoi" is the internal object family name for all butterflies.

No i don't think they were even named that yet at the time, I think the name came up first in Rayman M.

That was mentioned in L'histoire de Rayman all right. There was some crazy guy in the street outside the office who kept shouting "Popolopoï", so they took the word and used it to name their colourful butterflies.

That reminds me: Does the book have an English version already or is it "still planned"?

Maybe it was felt to be too risky, given how eager members here were to share scans, sometimes right under the author's nose?
This is so obviously Rayman 2 that I could almost call it plaigarism.
Thanks to Marc on the Rayman Discord for pointing this out.

Jagex or "Java Gaming Expert". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagex
According to Wikipedia, they make a lot of MMORPG (including Old-School Runscape) and was never affiliated with Ubisoft.

There seem to be references to Rayman 2 in this video. But as explained in another thread I can't find any info on these people. Hmmm...
