If you've seen Pocahontas, just try imagining that movie, except with furfag aliens instead of indians, and you won't need to watch Avatar.

Point. Avatar wasn't about the plot, but about the visuals, I get that, but the movie wouldn't have suffered if the plot was a little bit thicker because as it were, it was so simple it was an insult.

But what really annoyed me the most was the blue furries and how totally ridiculously badass the bad guy was. And also the generally cliché characters because they only helped to emphasize the simplicity of the plot, to me.

I couldn't wait for Ponyo so I downloaded and watched it in Japanese. I think I missed the whole story
