Re: Rayman Legends
I still think that one is waaaaay better than Super Paper Mario. And I'm like... a very traditional Paper Mario fan.
Re: Rayman Legends
Would they turn Origins/Legends into a trilogy? I think a third game with this style and gameplay would become repetitive and fail to be better then Legends. But I also don't know how they could make an another kind of 2D Rayman game with different gameplay since the redesign. 3D would seem like the best option.

Re: Rayman Legends
Oh man, imagine a third installment in the Origins/Legends trilogy, we'll probably get over 200 levels D:
Re: Rayman Legends
Meh, I don't think so. Remember, if they didn't delay the game, we probably wouldn't be getting all these awesome levels...and all this awesome content.Rayfist wrote: we'll probably get over 200 levels D:
Re: Rayman Legends
Or the levels we've seen are minigames and Legends turns out to be a Mario Party clone.

Re: Rayman Legends
One of the reasons I like the series is that each title stands out, while we have our preferences to the specifics of one title, at least there is variation aplenty, giving each of us our own unique preferred "blend" of Rayman.
I genuinely hope that even with the greater consistency the Post-Origins era seems to be having, each title can still stand out, and garner the same justified preferences.

Re: Rayman Legends
Your quite right, although most would probably agree Rayman 2 is the best game, something I didn't think was true until my recent playtrough which I finished today. I only had the PC version which eventually broke and since this was back in 2003 my parents got me Rayman 3 instead because it was the new game and I got stuck all the time in R2 anyway. Believe it or not, but I never bothered getting the game until 2011, and while I thought it was a good game it didn't entertain me as much as the others. But this time around I had more fun with it, observed the environment more, payed more attention to the music, and noticed how excellent some of the platforming really is. I think Rayman 2 is my favourite now.
I got jokes son.Minor-T5 wrote:You should really become a comedian.Keane wrote:Or the levels we've seen are minigames and Legends turns out to be a Mario Party clone.

Re: Rayman Legends
I meant 10 bucks for a complete world and some characters, and what Capcom did is the exact opposite of what I'm suggesting, because instead of releasing all the characters as DLC, they just made you pay 40 bucks for a batch of characters. Having around 10 to 12 levels and 4 characters is well worth 10 bucks.Rayfist wrote:10 bucks for more characters? No thanks, I don't want Ubisoft to head the Capcom direction that Capcom went with for Marvel Vs Capcom 3.

Re: Rayman Legends
DLC isn't really something I can get into at the moment, but I'd understand if DLC is added.
Re: Rayman Legends
I would only purchase the DLC characters if they were really really cheap.
Re: Rayman Legends
maximum price I would pay is 1 dollar.
Re: Rayman Legends
I played trough pretty much all of Origins with Rayman, only changing character maybe four or five times, and I don't recall ever trying out a single skin.
What would be a fun feature is to be able to put together your own skin.

1-2 bucks is fine, I'm not paying anymore than that for some cheap DLC, that's a fine price.OldClassicGamer wrote:maximum price I would pay is 1 dollar.

Re: Rayman Legends
I agree with the price. 1€ is ok, or even 2€. I'd pay for that. But not something like 4,95€ or such. Just not for a character. I'd pay that maybe for a bundle with a few levels and characters.
Re: Rayman Legends
If this serves as an example, the DLC from Rayman Jungle Run asks 1,99€ to have 3 playable characters in the game. Doing maths, it is paying approximately 0,66€ per character.

It'd been nice for them to be honest about it from the get-go, though I guess backlash was an inevitability anyways.
Meh, I guess in this case many have profited off the bad situation the Wii U had at the time.
