Can someone explain < the function f(x)=1/x ? < wants to know how the function goes from minus to plus if on both sides they already reach the unlimited if it nears 0.

The y axis is merely an asymptote, as you end up with a divide by 0, hence, it tends to infinity on the positive side for positive x values, while to negative infinity on the negative side for negative x values.

< Does fairly well in maths but < hates functions.
Perhaps one could say that < is... Dysfuntional...

There's a moth in <'s room, which frightened < for a moment because < thought it might be a mosquito and < already has more than enough mosquito bites.

< remembers the time < and <'s brother tried to chase a huge moth out of our room, it was hilarious.
