Haven't been playing much games, but I'm still an avid player on Rayman Adventures. I'm already nearing 700 Adventures!

Just bought Sly cooper: thieves in time. It's a fun game that makes me wish there were more platformers these days

Hm, I have that game for my Vita but haven't played in ages nor did I ever beat it. Not sure what caused me to do that, I should get back to that. Though I remember loving the original Sly Trilogy, even 100%ed all of them.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've started two games recently:
Stepehn's Sausages Roll : Puzzles are so complicated! This game is tedious. Really great level-design, but wow, it's tough. I still can't believe I managed to pass the first series of puzzles. They all seemed simply unsolvable when I saw them.
Life is Strange : Teenagers are so complicated! I like the story so far, and the reversing-time mechanic is fun. I would appreciate if the game wasn't reminding me all the time that my actions will have c.o.n.s.c.e.q.u.e.n.c.e.s™, but eh, the narration is still very nice.
Those teens tho.

Gonna play Geometry Dash. It's been awhile I didn't played it, now.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I'm playing Aliens Vs. Predator 2 with my little netbook.

Been playing the PS4 beta for Overwatch, its really fun, I was probably going to get it sooner or later anyway but now I definitely am.
Though some things never change..

That game reminds me of Big Hero 6 for some reason.
Looks pretty fun.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I beat Tropical Freeze, I think I liked it just as much as Legends. Now I'm starting the original Paper Mario, which I've never actually played before, so I'm really interested to see how it lives up to TTYD.

I should play Paper Mario 64 again. I've never finished it!
My preference still goes to TTYD, but it mostly for the universe and visual style. The first Paper Mario might have a slightly better level design.
Too sad this series is now just plain mediocrity.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I think I do like the original a little more. While many areas in Thousand Year Door are fiercely original, many I also thought either tried too hard to relive the original or were unmemorable. It was best during the first three worlds, and after that I thought it declined. The first game however, to me, was outstanding from beginning to end, and has music, environments and atmosphere beyond compare.

After 6 months and random intervals of playing, I finally beat Lunar Silver Star on SEGA CD. Great RPG, though it certainly lacks on the replayability factor unfortunately.
Re: What games are you currently playing?
beat Uncharted 4 earlier today. Naughty Dog really outdid themselves with this one!

Re: What games are you currently playing?
Because i'm a butt who doesn't tend to jump in on latest gaming trends and am in a massive Tales of series kick I've been playing Phantasia which is so beautifully retro feeling. It feels awfully slow but thankfully it doesn't feel as bad on a GBA (yes I have been playing on one and christ it feels so weird after being so used to modern handhelds) than it does on emulator.
Afterwards I have plans on getting Fire Emblem Fates after hearing some nice reviews on it and characters to die over as one does.

Re: What games are you currently playing?
I've been hearing while the new FE is good it's a very iffy localization (huge story content and character personalities cut for little to no reason).
Need to get that. I still need to beat Uncharted 3 though in the Nathan Drake collection. Not gonna lie, I'm getting really bored with this one so far (I'm in Syria).Bzzit wrote:beat Uncharted 4 earlier today. Naughty Dog really outdid themselves with this one!
Re: What games are you currently playing?
I played Mario Kart Wii after i found out i apparently own three copies of the game. Has this game ever felt like, broken to anyone? I know there's always been differences and advantages to certain combos/characters but
>bikes infinitely better and faster than karts
>some karts/bikes make awkward long turns while sneaking, others are extremely stubborn, making just 2 or so superior to every other option in the game
>every weight class has a character with better stats than the rest, would rather deal with funky kong's obnoxious yelling than wario's shitty handling
>manual driving is optional but better, basically tricking casual players into thinking they have an equal chance when they don't
>tons of exploitable glitches
>weird physics that allow for insane jumps and boosts
That being said though, credit to the game's fuck ups actually boosting the mario kart community hugely. MK8 is essentially the game MKWii probably should've been, but this game offers some really good fun if you learn how to properly play/fuck around with it. The only downside is that unless you wanna get homebrew and everything set up there's not too much single-player fun since the online shut down.

Hmmm, I remember finding that Uncharted 3 had pacing issues. How did you find Uncharted 2?Rayfist wrote:I've been hearing while the new FE is good it's a very iffy localization (huge story content and character personalities cut for little to no reason).

Re: What games are you currently playing?
So far, I think I've enjoyed Uncharted 2 way better than 3. Every moment felt like something intense was going on and there was barely any boring moments. The environments were vast and varied as well. Uncharted 3 so far has felt more the same from what we've seen in Uncharted 1.
