(Yes I dig through the forums way more than most people do

Yes it was Alix actually, it is a long story.

Last year, during the record day and in the french forums, a complaint was filled against Allah Alix. But since he was the current judge, he couldn't judge himself (despite what he claimed). So we instanciated a vote to know who would replace him as an acting judge.
Hunchman voted for himself, Alix voted for himself, Pirez didn't know for what we voted so he wrote "I am voting in favour", and I voted
Jean Lassalle myself.
Since the vote results were not conclusive, we instanciated a new vote to decide who would decide which vote will be taken into account.
Unanimously, the present members voted for Grosseb, an IRL friend of Hunchman which was with him during the record.
Grosseb chose Pirez, because it was the only person he didn't know between Hunch, Alix and myself.
But since that dumb Pirez voted in favour, we were no further ahead regarding the new judge. At least it was what we thought.
Several minutes after this decision, a new member registered on the forum, and he was called "pour" (french word for "in favour"). Since that little guy was elected through a long and complicated democratic process, he was the new judge. Thanks to Pirez voting "in favour".
The judge pour should have resigned after the record day. But he was kept as a permanent judge for two reasons:
- We had a lot of trials on our hands, and Alix wasn't active anymore (he came back only for the record day)
- Since Alix was a family relative of a RPC member, there might have been a conflict of interest in a case somehow. Fortunatly, the judge pour was completly clean and exemplary regarding conflicts of interests.
Following the record day there was a huge trial for incognito, led by Judge pour, with Hunchman as the main complainant. But that's another story.

Of course you are not alone, I don't know anyone who successfully made it through SMB at his first play.
Am I the only one who lives in Europe here?
