< is contributing his own opinion as well, as the votes of two members (even if one of them is a non-moderator) is more valuable than one.

Yes you are allowed an opinion and say what you think about it, but ultimately decisions on the board are made by moderators and higher ups so while we do take members opinions into consideration yours is ultimately worthless when it comes to the final say.

In case there's misunderstanding here, < is not trying to have the final say, but rather contribute <'s own view on the subject.

<'s point is "Don't try and make out like you're trying to do the moderator's job" which exactly what you're doing when you say "< is backseat moderating a bit. "

< was joking when < said that, but sorry if <'s tone came off as trying to tell you what to do. Though < thinks that in all honesty, it's fine for < to share an opinion on this kind of stuff, even if it won't be taken as seriously as that of a moderator's.

< was being semi-jokey, < wouldn't deduct tings from excessive booning unless it was bringing up trouble. That being said, < does think the boon does need to be used carefully, < wasn't joking when < said < has seen incidences and tempers flare from it being misused.

< considers excess booning to come under the "spam" category, unless that's what ^ meant by "bringing up trouble".

Depends really, < thinks it can come under that category, but < thinks it can also be inflammatory and stir up incidents if not properly used also.
