Re: The You Game!
< got UE4 and somehow it works fine on <'s severely under-specced laptop.
And let < tell you, it. is. the. shit. < is going to have a real ball playing with this. It looks like <'s game is finally starting to traverse from conceptual to the first developmental stages! < is excited as can be.
In other news, < can feel the tiny tip of <'s first wisdom tooth sticking out of the top-right corner of <'s mouth and it's a really weird feeling, like there's some sort of food stuck up there. x)

The mouse < found to use is all glued up and yicky. Blegh, using this is a bit of a pain.

< uses an old Microsoft Intellimouse that's probably over a decade old, plastic's a little faded, but it works for what I need it for.

Re: The You Game!
< went to the Blue Man Group concert today, it was absolutely astounding, and probably the most mind-blowing performance/concert < has ever seen. These are some unbelievably talented people, fusing some of the most creative musical, visual and acted elements. The production was absolutely perfect too, the lighting, choreography and everything were beyond compare. Some of the skills these people have, it's almost ridiculous, but nothing short of deserving a double-encore.

Re: The You Game!
< loves the Blue Man Group. They're incredibly inventive with their musical instruments and effects built out of anything, really. < enjoys their humour too.
Re: The You Game!
< now has Adobe Creative Cloud, doesn't know which programs to install and learn first...
Re: The You Game!
< has that, < recommends installing everything. Try creating your own animation in Flash. Or try editing photos in Photoshop.MrBadGuy wrote:< now has Adobe Creative Cloud, doesn't know which programs to install and learn first...
Re: The You Game!
Photoshop is the only thing < has downloaded already, < won't try to create animations without a tablet as < is pretty cruddy with a mouse.
< is also worried that installing everything will take up a lot of hard drive space...

Re: The You Game!
< has 1TB in <'s Macbook but that doesn't seem like enough these days, < needs to save up for some more externals...
Still, gotta loooove SSDs, < would find it hard to go back to spinning disk drives

Re: The You Game!
< has 2TB inside <'s iMac along with a 2TB external and it's all filled up

Re: The You Game!
< has had a 160GB HDD in <'s laptop, that certainly isn't enough, 1TB on the other hand, if that's not enough, < has to wonder what projects and the like ^ must undertake.
Re: The You Game!
All of it filled up!? Quite annoying.MrBadGuy wrote:< has 2TB inside <'s iMac along with a 2TB external and it's all filled up

<’s 1TB isn’t even full.
Re: The You Game!
Video takes up probably the bulk of it, even 1080p can result in big files if you want decent quality compression. Then there's music which can build up fast with multiple takes and stuff.
< really wishes that < had the money for some good external SSDs
