In my opinion, I would like better if this thread went back to focusing on emulation itself along with Rayman thsn seperate thread
But it could be that it was changed not on purpose when Phipho made double thread and when it was fused.

Please feel free to create a general emulation thread in the Off-topic section, as this is one is for Rayman emulation only.

I can't really get Rayman 1 to work on a PS1 emulator, could I get some help with that?
I followed the tutorial, but whenever I launch the game, it doesn't respond anymore and I need to use alt F4, I am currently using Windows 8.1

Well it just goes fullscreen, then the screen stays black and a pop-up with psxe... is not responding.

Try to run ePSXe as administrator.

The main problem is your ISO maybe. Get PAL or Japanese one instead of NTSC if you use that one.

PCSX2 will always lag with the Japanese version of Rayman Revolution.

PCSX2 is the only PS2 emulator available, but the emulation isn’t complete yet. No matter how powerful your computer is, it will always lag.

Yes it is a hack of the psx emulation converted to psp.

Yeah, I remember converting Rayman 2 PS1 so that it'd work on my PSP, still have it.

Actually it is not a hack, just an official Sony PS1 Emulator for PSP that is found in every PS1 download on PSN, so you can just inject custom game with converter
