Not really - what is a 'you' to the power of 131 even represent? Is that a 131th iteration of that person? Is it that person times themselves? What does that even mean?

< says that when we write the symbol "^" twice, it means "^ × ^", i.e. "^2". Therefore if we write it 131 times in succession, it is "^ × ^ × ^ × … × ^", i.e. "^131". < supposes it would be less confusing if we worked with indices using anything other than a symbol which can itself be used to represent indices.

< guesses that works since i3 equals i · i · i. However, since '^' is a direct reference to a name, <'s scientist self gets shoved aside for <'s programmer self and that person immediately substitutes '^' with its assigned value as if it were a variable.

Hmm, < would've thought ^^ would represent 2 x ^ in the context of the You Game, but if we're talking proper maths, ^^ would be ^2
