Well, admittedly I pretended that it was for an April Fools joke.

I designed Reese to be perpetually pregnant since the day I made him over 10 years ago, it was a time I was more afraid to really say since some people can be quite judgmental and harsh about things. It was however an inspiration from the Sims a long time ago over alien abductions, and I wanted to use that theme and make something a bit different. Thus the perpetual part where he has to live his whole life out like that.

Maybe? Unfortunately never really watched the Simpsons so I have no honest point of reference there.

Regardless, I used April Fools as an excuse for it, and how he is, is the true intended design for him overall. He's my main character that I've put a lot of design into, and he takes a lot after me, like with ADHD and his video game interests. In a way he's a younger me, but who is his own character still. Since he's into sports interests like skateboarding and street hockey where I'm not.

So hopefully that could help more closely answer your question I cannot really answer due to me not being familiar with that episode.
